There is a great view of sunset from the back bar with huge windows! The games were very interesting but the rules weren't always clear. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and had to wait to get into most of the rooms which wasn't too bad but if it was busier I think that could be annoying. Overall fun but expensive.

I'm really glad this came to the Providence Place Mall - I feel it really livened it up! I also dined at Nightshift Brewing, which is inside Level 99. I've been there 3 times and two of the three times, loved the food. They change their menu seasonally and I'm just not a fan of the options for summer. However, the fall/winter menu is delicious and has a killer french dip sandwhich that I dream about. At this most recent visit, I had the popcorn which is always great, and the detriot style pizza. It was fine, but to be fair, I don't really enjoy detroit style pizza to begin with. There just weren't any options that I was excited about so that's what I landed on. The tap list is good, and they have a combination of their own branded beer and some from other breweries. While they don't do flights per se, you can get small pours and pay individually. I typically do this as I love trying all the options. I enjoyed the majority of the beer, and I picked mostly their brewed beer. Later in the evening, after the game play was over, we ordered some cocktails. I can't remember the name of the cocktail, but it was delicious and super instagrammable. The bar tender was really nice and did a good job with the drinks. This is definitely a fun night out for adults and families alike.

I figure, if I have to pay the fee anyway I may as well give the place a shot. The Rec Center has a large pool, an indoor track, weight room on the first floor, cardio room on the second. There is also an area right when you walk in where you can sit and study. The cardio area is nice because it has really large windows that let light in. It can get hot if you're in the sunlight for too long, but if you mention it the staff can lower some automatic blinds. The shower/ locker room is clean enough. The initial activation process was a hassle because you have to sign an electronic waiver, but you can only access it after watching a safety video and the ric mobile site is pure trash and does not load properly. The woman working the front desk was nice enough to let me use her work computer to complete the process. All in all the whole place is adequate and if your a student at RIC that wants to work out you should use this space.

This is the part of campus that is done right…read more For all the things we complain about at RIC, the Recreation Center is the one that will get the most praise. It's a beautiful, brand new facility that is clean and has a decent amount of equipment. To highlight key points: - Free weights go up to 100 lbs (in increments of 5 lbs) - 2 squat racks - 5 bench press stations (2 incline, 1 decline, and 2 flat bench) - Indoor pool and track field - Plenty of cardio machines upstairs - Decent amount of machines specific to muscle groups (ex: Lat pull down and seated chest press machines). - Clean locker rooms and bathrooms I only have two complaints. One would be the lack of attachments that go along with the jungle pulleys. There are no straight bars, row bars, or v-handles. That truly deters from having variety in a workout and in a away, takes away from a quality workout as well. Additionally, there aren't any unique machines here. It's pretty standard equipment and nothing out of the ordinary. Secondly, the hours of operation need more consistency. The gym is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 AM, yet every other day of the week (including Friday), they open at 7 AM? Weird. But, it's definitely worth your time to come here. The Rec Center fee per semester is reasonable, and it's such a convenience. I'd recommend this gym to any Rhode Island College student or faculty member, encouraging them to make use of it.

A colorful and fun indoor place for kid parties. Great inflatable slides, plenty of room to run…read morearound. The staff was friendly and helpful. But it's way overpriced. We paid close to $500 (!!) for a birthday party of less than 2 hours for about 15 kids, Ouch. They don't allow you to bring any food or drinks beside the birthday cake. Not even some fruits or veggie platters for the adults. They only allow you to buy what they offer, which is low-quality pizza and sodas. Served on cheap, thin paper plates with little or no napkins. (At comparable places around Newton, Watertown etc they provide nice quality paper plates etc with Happy Birthday themes). There were three staff members at our party, which was wasteful and disturbing, one would have been enough. I don't need a guy guarding the pizza boxes and doing a favor dispensing, I'd rather have parents serve their kids generously. Overall we felt that the young staff members were nice and friendly, but the management policy could be better. If they charge such high prices, why not be generous at least with drinking water in the party room, like with large pitchers and recyclable plastic cups? How about good paper plates and napkins? How about providing a recycling bin, for those who care?.. Before the party, I called them on Friday noon and again on Saturday, about two hours before the party. No one was available to take my call... I didn't know if they have a freezer for an ice cream cake, so I bought a regular one. Later I learned they do have a freezer, but it was too late. In the second inflatable room, with the big dinosaur, there were also video games. We felt those were a needless distraction, we wanted the kids to climb, jump and slide, not waste time and money on shooting with machine guns. Quite inappropriate for little kids. The space was smelly, as the ventilation was not great. Overall- we would have felt much better if the price was reasonable, but considering the quality and services- it's way overpriced. Maybe it's worth it if you do a joint party of two kids, and split the cost.

I would give a zero if possible. I booked the 2 hour party package over the phone for my 5 and 3…read moreYO birthday party. Got confirmation emails and confirmed the food the week before. Day of the party we get there 15 mins early with the birthday kids and cakes, they tell us we aren't booked and there's nothing they could do. JumpTrax ruined not one but both of my boys birthdays. I had to text 17 parents to tell them to turn around. Complete nightmare! Don't book your parties here!
