She gave me gorgeous, slightly winged eyeliner. I later returned to have my brows done. I initially thought that I wanted microblading or 4D brows. We talked through the options and I ultimately ended up going with powder brows. I've had several people compliment me on my "perfect" brows and eyeliner since having permanent make up. Even my dental hygienist, who had an up close look at my permanent make up said it was by far the best permanent make up she had seen. I gave her the business card for Artistic Ink and she seemed pretty sure she was going to make an appointment for permanent make up too! I was concerned about ink fading or spreading over time. Yolanda showed me dots tattooed on her inner arm that showed what the ink looks like over time. I have seen some truly awful brows that faded to reddish/pink and grayish/green over time. Yolanda uses quality pigments. Yolanda has won several awards nationally and internationally for her permanent make up (PMU). Her techniques are flawless! She is an absolute perfectionist and will ensure you get the very best work possible. Yolanda is not the least expensive option for PMU in Sonoma County, but I have no doubt that you literally cannot find a better PMU artist! In text messages with Sierra regarding color…read moremissing from one of my eyebrow tattoos, she said "Your brows are not complete, consider them about 75% done and at your touchup we finish and refined the remaining 25%. " Therefore, eyebrows for $675 actually cost $825+tip, for a grand total of $990! Sierra did tell me to wait for the color to resurface. I know this is impossible, as the color in the area of concern was completely gone 2 days after they were tattooed. Needless to say, I will not go back to her for touch up. To be sure that I was not being irrational, I checked with other people in the beauty industry, people that have had their eyebrows done in other area salons, and the websites of other area salons. General consensus is that touch ups should be part of the service and not charged. Do your homework, people. If you do choose to see Sierra, I suggest that you make sure your eyebrows are just how you want them at 75%

Bree spent a lot of time drawing out a better shape, and was clear with me about what she was doing, why she was doing it, and how she was intending to fix the shape of my brows. She was thorough, and took her time drawing and measuring. I felt I was in good hands and the results were better than I could have imagined.
