Even after explaining that my decline in good dental hygiene practices was due to several back to back traumas coupled with chronic mental and physical health issues, they would not stop harping on me. Dr. Repanich wouldn't even take the time to polish the sharp edge of the broken tooth I complained about because he was more worried that I wasn't brushing my teeth at a 45 degree angle in a circular motion. I went home feeling hopeless about getting my teeth fixed and shitty about my inability to take care of myself, which lead to me having a full mental breakdown. I cried for three days and almost had to miss a day of work.

Ive got a 12 year old with no cavities. I've had sedation dentistry in his office which I bounced back from perfectly and with no pain and little discomfort. That allowed me to have crown work done in one appointment that would normally take 4 or 5 visits, and it was over in the blink of an eye. First a note: Dr. Coe has retired and the practice is now run by Dr. Sidhu (I hope I spelled his…read morename right). They haven't changed the signs/cards/etc. yet because that just happened a couple of weeks ago. On to review: I cannot speak highly enough of this practice. The staff are friendly, caring, and extremely competent. I've had two cleanings and a difficult crown replacement so far, and am 100% satisfied. The crown is perfectly seated--none of that tongue-darting-to-the-weird-thing going on in my mouth. I will be scheduling two more sessions soon (to deal with a cracked tooth and for some whitening), and I say this knowing that I've used up my dental insurance for this year already. One thing I really appreciate is the running monologue of the hygienists and the doctor himself about what they are doing. It's also pleasing to hear the doctor praising the work of his colleagues and suggesting changes in a constructive way. I've too often been around doctors who denigrate work that isn't their own. With this kind of atmosphere, I'm very much more inclined to keep to my regular schedule of cleanings. Also, don't let the fact that this practice is in a mall put you off. It's a very clean, very modern, nice dental practice.
