This review is specifically for Cooper Tires (the company) whose tires I purchased at this location. I bought four new Cooper tires back in June and was promised a $70 rebate on those tires. It's now been over 10 weeks since my rebate was approved but it has not yet been paid out. I've called Cooper Tires customer service numerous times with each call having a wait time over an hour (and once having been hung up on). When I have gotten someone on the phone the customer service was incredibly poor and all explanations for the delay were superficial and lacked accountability. It's incredibly frustrating. I will never buy Cooper Tires again and I would strongly discourage anyone else from purchasing Cooper Tires either. read more

I appreciate the level of customer service and knowledge the associate at farm and fleet have at Chippewa Falls, WI. They gentlemen who helped me with selecting power tools I needed for a project asked questions and gave me feedback on things I didn't even think of before I started my project. Don't put locks on all your knives and require an accociate to help when all your employees are useless or at least have a button to get there attention. You're so afraid of people stealing your losing business I can go to mills fleet farm and get the same stuff not locked up. read more

We had a wonderful experience at the automotive center at Farm and Fleet, especially considering the fact that we were in a moment of high stress and need with a nail-punctured tire and a need to get on the road! This automotive service center was very friendly, affordable and provided a quick service to my Volvo. I found out my car ran over a nail and so I didn't have an appointment at the service center. They told me that they would work around their schedule and try to fit me in. So kind and caring in the face of someone in need! The mechanic Gavin was very knowledgeable and the front desk customer service was top of the line. During my time at the service center, I didn't feel nervous or worried that they wouldn't be able to fix the tire properly and in good time. They let me know each step of the process and informed me of any concerns. I was very impressed with the way the mechanic followed up and made sure my tire was on my car properly. I felt that I received the best hospitality and quality service that I've ever been provided by a mechanic shop. I'm almost disappointed that I don't live in the area so that I can keep returning here for services. I would definitely return to this service center in the future. But I wanted to share on Yelp our positive experience so that others in the area can benefit from this wonderful place! Thanks Farm and Fleet! read more

Warning!!! The automotive technicians will try to push parts and services that you dont need. I asked for the parts back that they had taken out, they were very reluctant, the parts (ball joints) looked like they were taken out with a hammer!? an alignment ended up costing me $900.00 Avoid this place at all cost! BEWARE!!!! My friend went in to get her brake pads changed, and they told her she needed to change her rotors too. She insisted that only the pads needed to be changed, and asked them to show her the damage to the rotors. They refused, and insisted she pay $200! She had to have someone else call to get them to admit that only the pads needed changing. HUGE SCAM!! read more

Such a friendly staff and if the person your working with doesn't have the answers they find someone that does. Automotive parts are reasonable & I'm told their actual repair charges are as well but I have a hubby for that ;) Prices are competitive, and despite being a chain they seem so much more locally owned than 'the other farm store'. Who knew Farm & Fleet sold Silver jeans?! Some not all of the women's clothing is on the dowdy side - otherwise I'd totally do all 5 stars. Pet food selection & pricing is great. Awesome that you can look online to see how many of a specific product that they have & they'll pull it & have it waiting at the front desk if requested. read more

This is the WORST possible place to take you car for tires or repairs. They do not disclose conditions of purchase for tires (specials often are contingent on purchasing additional labor which is not disclosed unless you read their ads) and when things go awry, it is NEVER their fault. And it's not just this location. I spoke with their corporate HQ in Janesville, WI who basically told the that it is not their job to disclose all conditions of a sale, or for getting the right price estimate, it is my job as the consumer to be aware of what they need to know to get an accurate estimate/price. The mechanics are some of the most dishonest I've ever met or had the displeasure of dealing with. As so many others have said, my earlier attempt to have an alignment done ($79.99 price quoted) came to $950 after they required that I replace inner and outer tie-rod ends (anyone else catching the similarity in stories here, just Google their reviews on the net...$900+ alignments, $900 plus brake jobs...). If zero stars were a possibility that would have been my choice. Unfortunately, yelp only allows 1 star as the lowest rating. When I was a kid and the founder's still owned it, this was a GREAT place to get tires and basic work done for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, since the founder has died and the kids have taken over, it is no longer a place with customer values or integrity. If I thought it was just this store, I'd frequent ones farther away, but after speaking with their corporate HQ and hearing how they have operated like this for years and been very successful at it, I'm convinced that the place is rotten to the core, not just around the outsides. This is a buyer-beware environment and Blain's is pretty proud of what they have created (based on my conversation with their corporate Customer Disservice Department). Brought a trailer tire in that had under 200 miles on it. Jeremy says road hazzard, I argue the point. He says let me have a look, takes tire and walks to the back, waits 5 seconds, walks back up to the desk and repeats what he said the first time. Went there 4 alignment had 2 go back 2 get it corrected called the same day 2 make appt. come appt. day i have no appt. Make another got truck fixed. Went in for u joints drop of truck wait 4 call. No call. I call cause this isnt a major job they tell me they broke my yoke. Cant get one till next day. So i dropped it off on Saturday picked it up on Monday. Probably an hour job. Bought 4 tires there notice on has the wrong weight on it. I have 2 make an appt 4 a mechanic 2 come out and put the right one on. 30 second job. I also bought my fiance tires there shes near by when she punctures a tire so she stops in no one will even go out 2 look at it. Gets the run around between tire desk and auto shop. She leaves changes tire herself. Have road hazard get an appt hole isnt big enough 2 replace. I could have put a pencil through the hole. A pencil is larger than a 1/4 inch they put a plug in it. Shame on them. Never touching my vehicles again. And will gladly tell everyone i see about theyre horrible service read more
