Dr. Chad Blaker is not only kind and full of positive energy, but has magic hands. When I moved to MD, I was concerned where to go in case I needed something because I don't trust doctors too much. I am from Florida, and we have plenty of wellness centers there with incredible advanced technology that not only heal you, but they also keep you healthy and strong with regular maintenance. When I met Dr. Blaker, it was like a gift sent from heaven. I see him on a weekly basis. With his incredible technique, my body keeps healthy and strong, helping me survive some pretty bad falls I have had this year on the ice. Just today, I fell again since vanity took over safety, and I did not wear my snow boots. My left knee was in a lot of pain due to the fall. The back muscles were tight. I could barely walk. I saw Dr. Blaker this morning, and what a release! He worked on those back muscles, and about 80% of the pain was gone. I can walk better now and my knee does not hurt when I go up the stairs. Dr. Keen Blaker is by far my favorite chiropractor. He is magical with his therapy. He doesn't do the traditional snap crack pop that is associated with chiropractic care. His method is much more gentle but even more effective. Some may not like his humor but I love it. I think he's hysterical and people need to lighten up. I highly recommend. read more

This is THE BEST chiropractic office I have ever been to. I am happy to drive over an hour to visit Dr. Chad. He is the most, painfully at times, positive/happy person I have ever met. But his enthusiasm is infectious. He practices a family traditional version of DNFT or Directional Non-Force Technique. This technique is amazing. By simply tapping on critical parts of the body, the muscles are told to relax and return to a normal state, thereby adjusting your bones as they do. It is not painful, it is not invasive, and it really works wonders. He knows exactly where you are feeling your discomfort and how to remove it. Here is a brief Google explanation of the treatment method: "D.N.F.T. utilizes a diagnostic system for subluxation analysis consisting of gentle challenging and a unique leg check. This testing allows the body itself to indicate the directions of misalignment of structures that are producing nerve interference. A gentle but directionally specific thumb impulse provides a long lasting correction to bony and soft tissue structures. D.N.F.T. is able to achieve structural corrections without torqueing, strong thrusts, and associated articular sounds that are often associated with traditional chiropractic. D.N.F.T. is a patient oriented approach and provides maximum, long lasting relief in a safe and effective manner. It is amazing the results he is able to achieve even with long term problems in only a few visits. You just feel better in every way after you walk out of his office. The process is very quick and the wait is not long. Dr. Chad loves what he does and it shows. For your initial visit, he gets to know you in depth, so it takes longer and costs a little more. Follow up visits are quick and cost less. Dr. Chad is very interested in wholistic treatment as well as prevention. If you have any questions about your health in general, don't hesitate to ask his advice. They will bill some insurance companies, or you can take a receipt with you to submit. The prices are very reasonable and well worth it. He is able to do amazing things, even adjust bones in your sinus to alleviate breathing problems. He is able to work on people of all ages, including children. He often stays late in order to attend everyone who walks in the door and takes the necessary amount of time with each patient to attend to their needs. To be honest, I wish I could give this review a zero star rating. I called the office today to schedule a appointment for my husband. Here is how the conversation went. "Thanks for calling Blaker Chiropractic, Heidi speaking". Me: "Hi my name is __ and I was wondering if you guys are accepting new patients?" Heidi: "(fast talking and jumbled words)..... Medicare" Me: "I'm sorry, what did you say?" Heidi: Long pause "We don't accept insurance you gotta pay upfront" (with an attitude) Me: "That's okay. Thanks" Heidi: Hung up. First and foremost, I am very big on customer service and relationships. If Heidi or other receptionists are the first point of contact for the business, the communication that takes place between the customer and the receptionist will leave a lasting impression on how the customer (or potential customer in my case) regards the business. While I originally choose to contact this business based upon previous reviewers, I could not recommend anyone here based upon my interactions with Heidi. I hate to leave 1 star reviews, but if I had never said anything, the doctors would be unaware of their receptionists (Heidi in particular) and the impact they have on potential new clients. read more

Is there a six star rating? This was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I had been having chronic back pain for over a year. For the first few months i thought rest and stretching would make it go away, but it didn't. The pain started to become constant and numbness had spread down my entire leg. I tried going to one chiropractor that used forceful adjustments and that didn't seem to help. After that I saw my Doctor who suggested Physical Therapy and a MRI. The MRI revealed I had a bulging disk with leaking fluid. 2-3 months of PT helped a little but the pain did not go away. The orthopedic surgeon suggested I talk 800MG of Advil a day and wear a back brace... I tried another chiropractor who suggested 2-3 chiro appointments a week followed by physical therapy( very expensive). The orthopedic was suggesting looking at shots or surgery as the next step. At this point my left leg was numb all day and I had a sharp pain in my lower left back/glute constantly. My cousin recommended I try Dr Chad due to a lot of success his parents had. First, as everyone mentioned, Dr Chad is an extremely positive person who has a great outlook on life. You can tell that he truly wants to help you and isn't there just to make money. My first appointment Dr. Chad completed his assessment and told me I had a few things out of whack with my body and spine. He then proceeded to make a few non invasive adjustments. After the appointment, he told me that it may have fixed my problem but to monitor it and come back in a week. I started feeling better after a few days but in between my appointments I saw a massage therapist which seemed to irritate my back further. I went to come 2nd appointment and told Dr Chad and he had a few more adjustments and said to schedule another appointment but to cancel if I didn't need it. A week later I came back and I was already feeling better but not 100%. He said I looked much better and this appointment should be enough. Sure enough, it's been 4 weeks since my last appointment and I feel the best I have felt in a year. I hadn't been able to work out for fear of injury but I am now able to do the same workouts I was doing pre-injury ( I take Krav Maga and if you know anything about it, they are pretty intense workouts) Thank you Dr. Chad! You have changed my life in am extremely positive way. i HIGHLY recommend Dr Chad to anyone having Health Issues as he helps with a lot of things other than just backs. read more

For someone in their 60's, I'm in better shape than probably half of my cohort. After a roller rink skating spill last year, I was still a little creaky after two or three weeks. Based on a suggestion from a good friend who said, "Go and see Chad Blaker. You probably won't need more than two or three visits.", I scheduled an appointment and paid cash. During that first appointment, Chad assessed my situation and commented that there was work to be done. The treatment was very mild; no cracking. It felt more like very soft slapping and tapping. After intake, the treatment took about 10 minutes. He told me to come back in a week or 10 days. I left thinking, "That was it?" I felt no worse, but not remarkably better. Not much change during the week or so that followed. Still somewhat skeptical, I went in for a second visit. As he assessed me, he said he saw that things were coming back into alignment.. Ten minutes later, after the second adjustment, I left the office feeling a little tingly and high (in a good way) and my body felt "opened up" with more overall energy flow. Something had definitely shifted. He said he thought I'd be fine but to reach out if I thought I needed an additional adjustment.. I haven't been back, but will if I need to. Office in a nice location with plenty of parking. Multiple modalities available. Nutritional counseling as well. Family run business. Multigenerational family of chiropractors. Having had success with DNFT with s previous injury, it was clear after the second session how effective Doctor Blaker's chiropractic work is. So glad he's in my corner now or or vice versa. I just left Blaker Chirpractic office. I have been going here for 30 years. I am disappointed if I don't get to go see Dr Keen once a year for a re-check. He is very knowledgeable and funny. I started 30 years ago when his father Dr. Oliver was practicing and Dr Keen was fairly newer at that time. There is no long drawn out treatment plan and in most cases they can fix your problem in one visit! I can honestly say in 30 years only 3 times did I ever have to go back a 2nd time. For the last 20 years I drive 2 hours to get FIXED!!!! They are the best and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Keen and Dr. Chad and everyone at Blaker Chiropractic. My sister, brother-in-law and wife went to see Dr. Keen Blaker and always said great things about the pain relief, improvement in range of motion, etc. they got from seeing Keen sometimes just one time. They were told that Keen did not want to see them come back for the same problem, and in most cases they didn't need to. I went to see Dr. Keen Blaker today for the first time and I already feel GREAT improvement for a pinched nerve in my back that was causing me a lot of discomfort. He found it right away, without me telling him anything. Dr. Keen explained that he does his work differently than almost all other chiropractors. He said it is mostly diagnostic and then after checking my leg length etc. and reflexes (I didn't even realize he was doing it), hi applied some pressure in a few places in my back and I felt instantly better and still do. He said that many times he can fix things in one visit but I might need 2 since my brain and extremities were so "disconnected". This was a very worthwhile trip and $55. Chad Blaker is THE BEST chiropractor, I have ever gone to. After 7 to 10 people recommending me to him, I finally, decided, it was time to trust a chiropractor. My first visit, Dr. chad was very thorough in getting to know my back problems. I had tried many aggressive chiropractors, and usually, if not always, left the office in more pain, then when I started, a few weeks earlier. Chad promised me, he would not hurt me. He didn't. I was a patient of Keene Blaker over a period of about 20 years when I lived in MD. Dr. Blaker is a HEALER. He is a miracle worker. He is the only reason I miss living in MD. I never even took an aspirin for back pain once I was his patient. He even fixed a slipped disc in one single visit for me. I lifted a heavy auto part, and threw my back out. My leg was in horrible pain. Then my side down through my foot went numb. Keene Blaker came into the office from his home to see me for this emergency. THE BEST! I had an ortho treat me for 1 1/2 yrs for bursitis, which made walking very painful and began to affect my knees from the awkward movement.
