He said, "Would you like to work on it with me and learn how to fix it?" Oh boy, did I ever! He stood behind me, holding my hands like that scene in the movie "Ghost". At the end of everything, he didn't even charge me for labor. He just said, "Now you know. And knowing is half the battle." I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in western Iowa.

At the next truck stop, I asked one of the cashiers where I should take it. She told me that she only takes her car to Harlan Auto, gave me directions to the shop, and sent me on my way. Once I got there, I asked the clerk if they had time to get me in. They made time for me immediately because I was travelling. Within the hour, my car trouble was diagnosed. Unfortunately, they did not have that part in and the auto stores were closed due to the snow storm. Without charging me anything for the diagnosis and their time, they referred me to another shop in Council Bluffs that would have the part and would be able to get me in to have it fixed. You know a good mechanic when they care about the customer, not just about the money. If I lived in Avoca, I would only take my Jeep to this shop, as well.

This lemon needed a $500.00 service before I could even drive it and Steve Keast personally told me even though he knew it was WRONG and DISHONEST he would not pay for the service because he didn't make enoogh money on the deal. HA!! SOME FRIEND!! Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere else!! This is the reason small dealerships stay small. They do not take care of their customers!
