He'd already checked with three of his suppliers to no avail, but promised to check an additional source as well as his stock of used tires. Said he'd respond shortly after 7 AM. He did, and we had the used tires installed within an hour before 9AM. Price was fair, service was quick, and we got two name brand tires to tide us over until we can get a full new set (the tires we had we're original equipment run-flats with 44k miles on them. The place doesn't look like much, but they definitely know what they're doing and the responsiveness was stellar.

What I didn't like was the 4% up charge for using a credit card that they surprised me with. I can kind of understand a small business needing to add on the fees. But what gets me that it seemed sneaky to add it after the fact. "Oh, by the way, if you use a credit card it will cost more." They should tell you before they start so you can bring cash or a checkbook. Yes, I still use both of those. If fees for credit cards were posted, I sure didn't see it and all I had with me was a credit card. Be up front about it, guys, not sneaky.
