We understand businesses have closing procedures and cutoff times. That wasn't the issue. Our clothes were already in the dryers and already finished drying around 9:12 PM. I walked to the door simply to retrieve them -- not stay inside folding clothes or holding up closing. The employee locked the door and refused to let us quickly grab our things, telling us we'd have to return in the morning. I explained that I have an autistic daughter and needed her clothes tonight, but there was still no flexibility or compassion shown. Policies matter, but customer service and basic humanity matter too. Especially in a neighborhood where many families already deal with enough stress and rely on laundromats out of necessity, not convenience. We'll know the rules going forward, but this interaction left a really bad impression.

I had an extended conversation with the representative when I dropped off the items. We looked at the stain on the item - she stated there was no guarantee that they could remove it; I understood but thought they were going to try. The other item, they were confident that it would dry clean properly. When I picked up the items, I discovered the stained item was still stained!!! When I inquired, the rep was extremely rude stating that there was no indication on the ticket that spotting was needed and since nothing was written down, there was nothing they could do. Unacceptable! The new item (black) now has numerous white blotches all over it. I doubt I'll be able to wear it again. Neither item was pressed - both were more wrinkled than when I dropped them off. The black item looks as tho it was rolled up in a ball; it is horribly wrinkled. This is a one and done deal. I could not in good conscience recommend them - I don't care how long they've been in business. The rep was rude, she didn't care about the quality but she was very eager to accept my payment with no credit; no offer to try to clean it again! I do wonder how a business like this can stay in business!!! I won't be back.
