I chose to go with Eight and Rose because the pricing was fair compared to other companies and it was within our budget. We're so glad that we did because Lisa was AMAZING! She's sweet, professional, detail oriented, and so easy to work with. She went above and beyond what I thought a day-of-coordinator would be doing for us. She was a tremendous help with every single part of our wedding. Everything from dealing with the vendors and managing the timeline to helping decorating our centerpiece and wedding cake. She even took photos of us, which was so nice of her to take the time to do! At the end of the night, we had minimal cleaning because Lisa did most of it for us. I don't know what I would have done without her! Even our guests were praising her to me on how great of a job she was doing! Our wedding was seamless thanks to Lisa! Thank you so much Lisa! She was so professional and responsive whether it was texting, calling, or email. I live in NYC and was planning a Southern California wedding. She was always available to meet whenever I'd fly into LA, even at the earliest hours of the morning. I initially sought out Lisa because of her fair pricing, but I'd easily pay double for the coordination she provided. From the minute we had an initial phone call, I could tell she was Type A, which is exactly what you need in a coordinator. My gut told me she was perfect for our wedding, and indeed she was! Wedding Lead Up: We had one initial face to face with Lisa where she got to know our needs and our vision. She provided us with super helpful google docs to keep track of decor, guest list, timeline, vendors, etc. As the months of planning progressed, she was CCd on every email with every vendor, and would follow up where necessary. As a type A person myself, I never thought I'd really need my coordinator to do much, but Lisa would always beat me to the punch with following up for missing information or details our venue and vendors had missed. Walk-through: Lisa did a walk-through with us and our venue's coordinator, where she ironed out all of the details of the floor plan and decor, and remembered to ask for things like a full length mirror in our conference room we had to do hair/makeup. Rehearsal: Lisa was great about telling everyone where to go, how to walk properly, and taking pictures for us so we could rearrange people if we needed to. Our bridesmaid was running late but she was able to coordinate with Lisa to find where we were and make it on time. We felt very at ease and ready for the wedding after the rehearsal. Wedding!!!: Lisa and her assistant were wonderful with setting up all of our decor exactly how and where we wanted it, and believe me we had a lot of it! Lisa had the perfect balance of being invisible but also available right when we needed her. She was there to give me a bandaid when my feet blistered, help my grandma with her corsage, and track down random vendors when we needed them, but also stayed behind the scenes a lot. Everyone says a coordinator is there not for if something happens but when something happens. Well, we know of no such happenings because any mishaps were handled 100% by Lisa as we were enjoying ourselves. She had a great balance of keeping us on schedule while still asking if we wanted 5 or 10 more minutes of mingling with friends. At the end of the night she packed up all of our gifts and decor for us, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The day after our wedding she even sent us tons of pictures and boomerangs she had taken of behind the scenes moments. These are so special to us, and we'll savor them as we wait patiently for our professional photos. Can't recommend Eight & Rose enough!

Please continue reading and stop looking elsewhere and be completely convinced that you guys should go with MLE immediately! MLE was involved as our Day of Coordinator and planning activities 6 weeks leading up to the big day. Cindy's experience, consideration, professionalism, and honesty (this is a huge one) made what could have been a very stressful day into a stress-free day, or least as stress free as a wedding day can get it, haha. As the days approached the big day, we were already pretty happy with MLE, but once the big day came, they completely kicked it up into high gear. They were so seamless in working in the background to make everything come together with the vendors, timing, handling of guests, etc. We had a delay due to the florist, but they handled it so well that the guests couldn't tell, only we could, and even when we tried to get involved, MLE assured us that it was taken care of, and not to worry. They even went above and beyond in moving some flowers to be better positioned around our mirror guest list, which elevated how the florist had originally planned for. They were very considerate and thoughtful for us by making sure appetizers were set aside for us while we were taking pictures, we were very pleasantly surprised to find a big bowl of our seafood items sitting at our couples table, since we definitely didn't get a chance to get to it. Throughout the night, they made a point to bring us drinks, dessert, help with a small crisis on my mom's side. I really couldn't have imagined having a better coordinator the day of, I wish I had another big event to plan, because I would absolutely go back to them for their services. AND the amazing service doesn't even stop at the wedding day! Their follow up emails to reflect back on what went wrong or what went well shows how much they care about their work. They were very meticulous in addressing any concerns we had that happened on the big day and most importantly, they were honest. They were truthful about the reasons why some things didn't go as planned, and that to us is the most important trait in a coordinator that you can trust them. In the end, they were instrumental in even getting us partial refunds from vendors because of them not holding completely true to their agreements. If you've read this to its end, you don't need to look elsewhere, hire Cindy and her team now! You won't regret it!

    The Mad Love team took such incredible care of us throughout our entire wedding planning process…read more Cindy was so warm during our first call with her, and it really set the tone for all of our future interactions with the rest of her team! Shasele was our point of contact, and she was kind, thorough, and patient with us as we worked through all of our requirements and asked her a million different questions about the process. She also made sure to provide regular checklists of items to make sure we stayed on track, while also not putting too much pressure on us! Claire handled putting together a gorgeous design brief based on inspiration photos we gathered, which definitely helped as we went through the process of selecting and working with vendors--all of whom were also incredible! An important thing I also want to mention is that I had a sudden health issue flare up partway through our venue search, which set things back by a year. The team was incredibly understanding and checked in periodically while offering well wishes until I was ready to return to planning, and I deeply appreciate how patient they all were during such a difficult time. Overall we couldn't not have asked for a better planning team to work with, and we're so incredibly grateful to Mad Love Events for making our special day so perfect!

While there, we stumbled into the ball room where we stood in awe at what was at the time, one of the most beautiful wedding designs I had ever seen. My mother and I promptly asked the first person we saw who was designing this wedding and got a card for a "Natalie Good". I pocketed the card and thought- one day! Fast forward 5 years I had met Matt(my now husband) and we were moving into together. I was cleaning my room at my parents house and came across Natalie's card and put it in my purse. 3 months later, Matt proposed on a Saturday and the following Monday I called Natalie and booked her. First and foremost, Natalie is an angel on this planet. Wedding planning is so stressful and I never had to worry about a single thing, she went above and beyond to make sure I was not stressed and happy. She is more than just our wedding planner and over the 3 years we planned my wedding (thanks covid...), she became my friend and someone who I adore Second, when going down this road, I think trusting your planner/wedding team is extremely important to make sure the process is seamless and smooth. I can tell you that without a doubt, I trust Natalie and her team implicitly! I trusted them so much that I let them run free on the design for my wedding and I could not have been happier! Everything was perfect and so gorgeous- from the table design to the flowers, everything was flawless and it was so amazing to watch her vision come to life. It's been 3 months and I am still getting calls and compliments from all of our guests and even friends of guests who weren't there but saw pictures. She is insanely talented and has an unbelievable list of vendors that are just as talented. We even had a silent disco at our wedding and it was a hit! Third, her team is awesome. The women who helped me specifically- Ellie, Kennedy, and Maddy- where next level professional and so helpful. There were nights where I would be up at midnight and text Ellie and she would always answer and talk me down. Kennedy and Maddy were running around on wedding day making sure I was hydrated and fed and happy. Everything about A Good Affair is top notch and I could not be more grateful or fortunate to have had them design, plan and make our dream wedding a reality.     This review is based on my communication with this company. I didn't hire them so I can not say if…read morethey provide great service for your party. What I can say is, they don't really go straight to the point and communicate back n forth in email when you had requested 3 times to call you to talk it out. I mean, if off the bat you're having a hard time conveying your plans, pricing with me then its not worth my time. They reply back quick, which I appreciate but them going around in circles is annoying. Also, if you're looking for budget, this is NOT the place for budget. She knew my budget, yet continued to ask questions through email. Finally, she gives me the quote of $10-$15k for a wedding next year (saying pricing will go up next year) and if its something i am still interested in. Wow, knowing where my budget is, which was less than $3k, and you know your asking is triple that, is so unprofessional. This is not accommodating to new clients or at all helpful. If you plan to have a wedding with a $10-$15k budget in mind then this might be your type of vendor but if you're asking for really minimal details for $3k, and they don't just say "sorry our services are over your budget" then they don't care or respect your needs. These days, customer service should be catered to what you can provide for the client. If you can't make it work, then just simply let the client know. Do not waste their time with back n forth email. Some of us don't understand what you're saying in email and a clearer communication shows you care enough to explain it.

    Candice and her team were perfect…read more Candice would always take the time to listen to and enage in our crazy requests. Whenever we thought of something that we thought was complicated, she would immediately have a solution that she could execute seamlessly. For things we didn't have much of an opinion on, Candice always knew what was best given our preferences, but always presented us with options just in case we wanted to go a different way. She kept us on track throughout the process, and when things got stressful for us closer to the date, she stepped in and took a lot off of our plate. Everything at the wedding went extremely smoothly. We had no stress, everything was taken care of. We were able to enjoy our wedding completely carefree. I usually keep a to do list of everything that needs to get done in life to make sure nothing slips through the cracks, even if its not something that I need to do. I tend to keep that list even when I'm fairly confident the other person will complete that task. With Candice, I felt comfortable not keeping that list, and just trusting she would take care of everything, which she did. But just the fact that I was able to get comfortable enough with Candice easy on to not keep that list was such a huge relief. Normally when I go to a wedding, I can identify the planner, but I tend to not have a strong opinion about the planner. Many of our guests commented on how smoothly everything ran with Candice and her team. She made a uniquely positive impression on our guests.

Fortunately, I came across Amormagic's wedding samples on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), and I was immediately captivated by their attention to detail and their keen sense of aesthetics. After sending them a message, I received a reply the very next day, and we quickly scheduled a video call. Mandy gave me a very professional first impression, asking me many questions I had never even thought about. Since my husband and I are both people who dislike hassle and lack creative ideas, we quickly decided to entrust Mandy with the entire wedding design and planning.     Just wanted to sing praises for the amazing support Alexis provided for our wedding dinner at Bar…read moreChelou. My husband and I wanted to plan something of a wedding celebration dinner, and we knew we needed some help because we live on the other side of the country and also none of our family and friends were available to provide much support. JM Events came recommended to me by my photographer who had been in the wedding industry for over a decade. I set up a call with Lilian and we went over my vision for what kind of event I was envisioning and she discussed what kinds of services JME could provide for our event and also shared that they had planned and coordinated similar type events in the recent past. After our call, I also had meetings with other event coordination companies and it was clear to me that JM Events would be the best fit for us as they seemed the most competent and professional. I also liked that JM Events was based nearby our venue. Two months ahead of the event, Alexis began working with us. We tossed around a lot of high-level ideas we were considering and Alexis provided insight on whether or not or how they would work within the constraints of our venue and timeline. Alexis and Lilian also had vendor recs at the ready at different price points whenever we needed them as well. Over time we narrowed down which ideas we wanted at our wedding and Alexis provided invaluable insight on wedding logistics and restaurant service ops that we should consider in our planning. She attended our venue walkthrough with us so that we could begin to visualize placement for different "stations" at our wedding and also served as our advocate with the various vendors we had hired. She also checked in with us and the vendors over increments in time so that we met all of our venue deadlines and to ensure that all of the vendors were in lockstep with what we were planning.  The week of the event, Alexis worked to make sure to send out event confirmations with all of our vendors so that each vendor was prepared to arrive on time and any accommodation our vendors needed were provided. This was so impressive that my make-up artist asked me where I had found Alexis! Alexis and Lillian were consummate professionals through and through, I felt supported the entire time and any question I had was met with a very considered response that only a very experienced events planning professional could provide.  Our wedding celebration was one of the best days of both my husband and my lives. We also received so many compliments on our event, like "best wedding ever" and "can I copy your entire wedding?" I was on cloud nine the whole night and in watching some of my friend's video footage I saw Alexis working in the background making sure that our timeline was executed exactly as planned.  I know certainly that without JME and Alexis, our night would not have went off as seamlessly as it did and I am so grateful for JME and their team. My (then) boyfriend and I got engaged in February 2021, and I always knew I'd want a slightly longer engagement, just to push things out so I'd have more time to decide on what I wanted and how I wanted it. From the start, however, we already knew we wanted to work with Lilian and her team. Given that I had more time, somewhat wanted the challenge of planning a wedding, and felt pretty prepared, we opted for the month-of services. Once we started working with Lilian, our wedding-planning life honestly became sooo much easier. I feel like we had a pretty good idea and plan for everything we needed, yet, Lilian still, easily, made things even better. There were so many things we didn't know we needed. She was so thorough, organized, and thoughtful and knowing she and her team would be by our side to finalize the details and (basically) walk us down the aisle, really put us at ease. Her communication was spot on - not just with us, but with our vendors, and with handling any (not unexpected) last minute changes. She was so easy to reach and communicate with, and was always so patient and efficient. She knew what we wanted, what we needed, and offered suggestions along the way. On our big day, her team was just as great - from the pre-wedding set up, making sure our bridal party had everything we needed, even helping us order boba - Lilian had everything all thought out. She checked in with us throughout the busy night, and helped wrap things up seamlessly. We truly couldn't imagine a more perfect day, and would not have had it any other way.
