I was informed their service charges were a $100 truck fee and $130 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Based on the nature of the repair, I believed a properly trained technician should have been able to diagnose and repair the issue within that timeframe. Google search also supports this. The technician spent approximately two hours diagnosing the freezer and an additional hour sitting in his vehicle smoking, which I was still billed for according to the invoice. At the end of the visit, nothing had been repaired, the freezer was not reassembled properly, and the fan was now making noise that it had not made previously. Before leaving, the technician asked me to sign his tablet simply acknowledging that he had arrived on-site. He stated that the company would contact me later with the diagnosis and repair estimate. On 04/29/2026, I received a call from Tom, who advised me "not to be alarmed" but explained that he had sent an estimate recommending replacement of the freezer instead of repair due to the projected repair cost. I informed him that after my experience with the service visit, I would not be using their company again, especially after being billed for time while the technician sat in his vehicle smoking. Tom stated he would pass my concerns along to the appropriate person. Approximately 20 minutes later, I received a call from Ashley, who assured me I would not be charged for the hour during which the technician was sitting in his vehicle. I also explained my concerns regarding the freezer not being reassembled correctly, the new fan noise, and the excessive replacement quote. The replacement estimate provided by QRC was $4,974 for a freezer that I found available elsewhere for $1,819 with free delivery. This represents a difference of over $3,100 for delivery, setup, and removal of the old unit, which I found unreasonable. Ashley stated she would investigate the matter further and call me back. Approximately 36 minutes later, she informed me that the company would issue a full refund and would send someone back out on Monday to properly reassemble the freezer and determine why the fan was now making noise. However, two employees arrived the following day appearing frustrated that they had been sent out and claiming they did not know why they were there. Their visit did not inspire confidence in the company's professionalism or communication. The reason I am now writing this review is because it has been over three weeks, and I still have not received the refund that was promised by Ashley after she spoke with her supervisor. At this point, I feel it is important to share my experience so that others can make an informed decision before choosing to use this company. Additionally, the repair estimate itself appeared significantly inflated. The repair should reasonably take one to two hours from diagnosis to installation and programming of the replacement control board. Instead, the estimate included seven labor hours, two truck fees, and heavily marked-up parts pricing. The control board was listed at $639 plus a $50 delivery fee, despite the fact that I was able to purchase the same part myself for $54 with free next-day delivery. Their estimate also included a $48 wiring kit, although the replacement board I purchased already included everything necessary for installation. It is important to note that the control board and all wiring connections are clearly labeled by the manufacturer, making installation straightforward for a qualified technician. Had the company honored the refund they promised, I likely would not have felt the need to publicly share this experience. I will be providing supporting photos and documentation so others can review the information themselves and make their own informed decision regarding whether to use this company. If the refund is not received within month of the charge, I intend to dispute the charges through my credit card company. And then will leave additional reviews like this one. Please feel free to share with the company and maybe they can learn from it.

The woman I spoke with was very unprofessional but let me know someone would be by end of day. After 5 pm I called twice and finally someone answered and then she proceeded to let me know she must have forgotten to call me back to let me know no one could make it out until the next day. The next day rolls around and I had to call to ask when someone would be coming by she told me the tech had just gotten up and would be by soon. Upon arrival the tech barely spoke to me and then went to leave without even explaining anything so I asked what was going on. They called me right after he left saying they could not find the blower motor that it would have to be ordered and wouldn't be there until Tuesday. I literally called a part shop here in downtown and picked one up an hour later. After deciding not to go with them they called me back a couple hours later saying they somehow miraculously found a blower motor but to fix it that day it would be $100 more than Tuesday how this makes any sense I have no idea when it was still within business hours. Now they want me to pay them $70 for coming out and diagnosing it. Honestly the worst company I've ever dealt with. Sad part is they were recommended to me by my normal HVAC guy.

We got an alert Thursday night that our AC had been running more than 4 hours and the temp was increasing. We were scheduled to leave for the weekend the next day. Hawley Air had been recommended to us, so we decided to contact them to see if we could have them out on Friday before we left. I sent a text Thursday night and received a response Friday morning asking to call. I called and left a VM and got a call back shortly. The rep I spoke with was very friendly, got all our details and said dispatch would reach out to schedule. Jacob Gray and Steven Morgan were at our house within an hour. They worked quickly and efficiently, locating the issue on our HVAC, discussing our options, and fixing the problem. After fixing the issue they looked at every part of our system, both heating and AC, to ensure there were no other issues. They found nothing, and they ensured us we had a 30 day warranty on their work and review. I had a subscription set up with the previous company and we still got pushed to the bottom of their list when we had issues. I signed up for Hawley Air's subscription and they assured us that with their plan, we'll be moved to the top of the list if we have issues. I highly recommend Hawley Air if you're in need of a new HVAC company! I'm very impressed with everyone I spoke with and their prices were very reasonable!

The service person spent two hours trying to bypass the control board, It was working when he left but he said he didn't know how long it'd last until we needed to replace the board. That fix lasted about two hours and cost us $283.55. I again called Reedys, and the same technician came with a new control board. the cost was $650.00. the unit again worked when he left but ran for only a couple of hours. I called the service manager and he said he could send the same guy out and I decided I needed someone else. A friend who knows pumps and electricity troubleshooting looked at it for us. He found a clogged condensation pump motor. He cleaned it and the unit has worked fine since. I believe the service man doesn't know much about repairing the equipment or was running up a huge bill, The service manager said during a brief conversation that he didn't repair air conditioners. I wish I had contacted someone that knew how to clean a motor before calling Reedys. I've used this company many times but will never call them again. We spent $908.55 and nothing was fixed. For all I know the service man merely vacuumed the water out of the pan, which would have gotten the unit to run for a couple of hours.
