My technician, Daniel was incredibly professional and got the job done even after a couple of unexpected challenges with my home unit/wiring. The administrative staff was very accommodating and kept me up-to-date at every step of the way. They told me the price upfront and kept me informed of any changes along the way. When the price of materials unexpectedly came in at nearly twice the quoted price because of tariffs, the company resolved the issue with exceptional cooperation and care for a new customer. They do this other thing that is worthy of mention. Before your technician arrives, they send you a text with the technician's photo, a short bio, and their star rating and reviews from other customers. This is truly incredible. It is a big deal to just let random people onto your property these days, and this very thoughtful and incredibly meaningful detail was quite impactful. No one likes to be told that your air conditioner has finally hit the end of the road and needs to be replaced, but after an incredible 30 year run (most of which I wasn't here for), ours did exactly that. Thankfully, we knew that when we bought the home, and had kept money aside, knowing that really it was an "any day now" thing. It is difficult to get timely service these days, many contractors are quite busy, but Relief Heating and Cooling has been so incredibly responsive from beginning to end on this process. First of all, their reception staff is very professional and communicative. You will always be kept up to date on the status of your service request and be notified within very exact timing of when your tech will arrive. Matthew, one of the company owners, is a great guy who gives it to you straight but is never shy to talk about all your options. He headed up the install team that installed our new system, which even though it was a really big job they ensured they saw through to the end, even though it was a Friday. Since the installation, I did have to make another call to have them look at one of those "kinks" that can happen with any new system. They fit me in same day, making me a priority even after making the sale. I appreciate that. He was able to answer any questions I had & was very professional. During the inspection, he found the compressor was bad, so I figured I might as well get it replaced. Great price & service! However, Although they diagnosed my initial problem correctly they were more concerned on selling me the "relief members" yearly service contract and an expensive surge protection for my system. Their prices were outrageous to fix my system and I find them to price gouge when people are in need of quick service. As comparison, they quoted me $1400 to replace a part that I got replaced for $200 from another service provider. They get 2 stars for being prompt and friendly. read more

I used Relief Air to install a new HVAC system in my house that only had heat. Matthew and his team were extremely professional, efficient, and clean. From the system install, to the insulating of the duct work everything looks great. All together everything took about 3 days. Matthew provided 3 options and didn't try to force feed me any options. After all the work was done he stayed in contact with me to see what needed to be tweaked and how it was performing.
