Chris Lucey returned my call right away and since the work was not of an emergency nature, we agreed he would come out in October to do the work. (The other company I had called would not even look at the job until the spring.) The job included the removal of a number of dead limbs on some large oak trees, removal of two dead trees, cabling a two-trunk oak tree that had outgrown earlier cabling, as well as some pruning, which included removal of some large limbs that were growing over the roof. We also identified the need to take down a large oak in the front lawn that had some woodpecker activity. I was reluctant to take it down, but I respected Chris' professional opinion that the tree was compromised and a hazard due to its proximity to the electrical lines. I am so glad that he convinced me of this - once it was down we saw that the tree's core was basically hollowed out. Tree work is never cheap but Chris' pricing was very reasonable and I would not hesitate to use his services again. His crew was great - they were all courteous and respectful of the property. They did a great job with cleanup, removing all wood and debris - they even moved a pile of leaves we hadn't gotten to yet.

Their skill - by a team of at least 6 crew members- was phenomenal! They coordinated their work, took great care with our yard and fence, and took the trees down without any problems. Our new backyard was filled with large, unhealthy trees that were in danger of falling at some point (and positioned precariously over neighbors' homes!). Rather than wait for that to happen, we called Luna after the biz was recommended to us by multiple friends. The walkthrough and consultation with Liz was straightforward and informative, and we quickly came up with an action plan. Within weeks, the crew was onsite taking down trees -- I was so surprised and impressed that they were able to accomplish so much in December!
