And I *love* my new lupine tattoo: Fae specializes in nature-inspired fine-line work and I'm thrilled with the design she came up with, which is both minimalist and faithful to nature, with a touch of the abstract. She's terrific at listening to her clients and carefully describing everything that will happen, so whether you're getting new ink or you're a newbie, you'll feel well taken care of. Unfortunately, I wasn't greeted when I walked in--even after I cheerfully said, "Hello, how are you?" There was no response back besides a look, and when I asked about availability, the response I received felt cold and dismissive. One of the women at the front desk did seem kind--I wish I had spoken only with her. As someone who just moved to the area, I was hoping to get some helpful information and maybe become a new customer. I rarely leave reviews, but the interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. It's a shame, because the place itself looks great. But based on that first impression, I won't be returning. The way I was treated made me feel like a bother rather than a valued potential customer.

I don't have a lot of time off, or a lot of wiggle room with my schedule, so coming in twice in one week was a huge inconvenience for me. They also made it very clear that it was an inconvenience for them. Regardless, I asked for pink and white, and they were terribly sloppy. They fixed them free of charge, and that was great. I went in tonight, and the same person that I always end up talking to let me know that they close at 6 o'clock on Saturday. (That's a lie. Online it says seven.) I also know it's seven, because there was one time I called and let them know that I was going to get there around 6:30 and I was very sorry because they close at 7. They were unhappy, which I get, but at least I gave them notice. They provide a service, I needed the service, and we met in the middle. Lying straight to my face was something I can't look past. This barber shop that I am talking about is located at 611 Hammond St in Bangor and this review is about them. I would say that they have a nice and clean place. You don't need to make a reservation because it's a first come first serve. The price is descent and reasonable compared to the other barber shop in the area.They don't accept credit cards, it's either cash or check only. They have two women barbers working on separate schedules, one on Tuesday and Thursday only and other one is on Monday,Wednesday and Friday, they close on the weekend. He then refused and said, "I don't trust him" which I responded , "That it's not about trust. This place was recommended to me and oh my goodness, ITS AMAZING. First of all, this is - no exaggeration - the best massage I've ever had. I also added extraction to my facial and it was the best extraction I've ever had. Yes it was a bit painful, but that's how you know it's a good session! The best part - Everything was in one room, on one bed. I was able to get a facial and massage and not move.
