I've already lost one trying to do it by myself and thought I don't wanna lose another 150 bucks. I knew out this was the right place because the two girls at the front desk were totally pierced so they know what dealing with piercings is all about. My wife and I came here to get pierced by Haven. They don't take appointments for piercings, so getting pierced involves walking in and waiting in line- normally the piercer is there between 10.30 and 4.30. The place was clean and had a good ambience, the person behind the desk was super nice, and when our turn came the piercer, Haven, was good at putting us at ease, and the studio was full of neat decorations like giant exotic bugs. I got my nipples done and my wife got a double nostril piercing and we were both happy with the placement and process. I got my helix pierced here in jan. It never healed properly and the piercer told me I could come back and change my hoop for a stud in 2 weeks when I asked to pierce with a stud to begin with. She pierced it at the wrong angle with a thick hoop. Today (may) I went to a reputable Piecer to get the hoop taken out since it still hurt so bad. He told me that since the hoop was so thick it was dragging down my ear which caused all the pain and the large bump. Wouldn't recommend, you get what you pay for. The whole team at diversified ink are so nice and welcoming and is really a chill environment to get some new ink. Harley is one of the most talented artists I've ever seen. I had a amazing experience with Diversified Ink. The young lady at the counter was very friendly and made me feel welcomed right off the bat. I had an appointment with Haven to have my septum pierced. She was punctual, professional and made me feel very comfortable. I have what some would call a dainty nose and she took the time to hear me and offered the best solution for my nose type. Even though this was not my first piercing she still walked me through everything to ensure a great experience for her and I. The whole shop was spotless and also decorated for the Halloween Season. I went here to get my third tattoo and my friends first tattoo. We both got matching tattoos that depending on which way you look at it, it either says sisters or friends. We both had Jeremy and did a great job! We both need a touch up but that happens with tattoos and good news is that they allow one free touch up within the first year of having it. My friend wishes that she would have placed it a little further up on her wrist but thats the only thing she wished differently. I came into Diversified a few months ago to get my nostril pierced and my friend came with for help changing jewelry in her conch piercing. The girl at the front counter was sweet. The problem only started once we were with the piercer, B. She was not only rude but made me feel super uncomfortable and nervous, which isn't how you want to feel, especially when someone is about to shove a needle through your nose. She was really rude and sarcastic about all the questions I had, it seemed like us being there was bothering her. She didn't give me a choice of jewelry and the piercing was done at a strange angle, as well as the fact that nose screws aren't the best jewelry to get a nostril pierced with in the first place, however she said they were. I had to get the jewelry changed not even a month later and I may even have to get it re pierced because of the angle making it sit oddly on my face and all the trouble it has given me. Then after piercing my nose, she was rude to my friend about her jewelry change, she also didn't sanitize the new hoop that my friend had brought with her. The entire experience seemed very unprofessional. I would not recommend going here for piercings. read more

Don't go here for a piercing! I got my nose done and she used a larger needle (16 gauge) to make the hole and put a smaller ring (18 gauge) in the hole! This meant that the stud was always falling out of my nose and I would have to push it back in; which is what caused a boil to form under the stud. I called for advice on how to heal it and she said to use hydrogen peroxide, DON'T DO THIS. It causes scar tissue. She is clueless. Don't go here. read more

Ive been lucky enough to get 3 amazing tattoos at this house of ink. My love for Diversified Ink started back in March of 07 when I got 3 simple little shamrocks on my right wrist to symbolize unity amongst my Irish sisters and I. I then sat for 2 separate 3 hour pieces and each time was the most pleasant experience Ive ever had. Its a very clean sterile environment complete with show tune singing Tattoo Artists. The process of making an appointment was the easiest Ive ever dealt with (i have 10 other tattoos so that says a lot) for my most recent I just called my regular artist(Jamie) and described to her what I wanted OVER THE PHONE and when I arrived a week later it was a work of art. If you are looking for a quality piece in a 100% professional environment (until they start singing beauty and the beast) then I suggest stopping in and looking at a few books and seeing some work in progress, Getting a tattoo is a life long choice, when it comes to such things its best to go where you will be treated with the most care. read more
