The Farm animals started eating our meal!
    Vanessa Z.

Let me say that the pizza was delicious but the service was terrible. We were the first to arrive. Our order took one hour when we asked about it the "Supervisor" told us the oven can only take four pizzas. We said we had arrived before any of the large orders that were going through. The supervisor then blamed her employee who had been working there only 4 days. They finally got us our pizzas and comped a glass of wine. What I found disgusting are the farm animals that roam the grounds. My son had a chicken jump up on the table and eat his pizza. It was awful. The staff just laughed when they saw it. Will not return.

They claim "Worlds best Organic Winery" How? Their bubbly looks like they stole the label and name from another winery . Hmmmm Spritz & Giggles. Now That's a great Bubbly!!

We've been to this winery twice in 3 months and we don't live local. The pizza is AMAZING! A great pit stop for lunch! I wouldn't bother with the tasting, but do a self-tasting instead. The person who did our tasting lacked some passion, so next time we would just do a self guided tasting and enjoy the view, pizza and wine! We loved the chickens that roamed free and the winery dog! The wine is tasty as well.

Beautiful little winery with great wine. They have a dog too who's super cute. Can't wait to come back again for more wine!

We saw it on Google Maps so decided to check another winery after the sensation that was Gray Monk.

To avoid having the rest of the group wait for us, we told them to go ahead and we'd wait for our ride. We were told by the wine tasting folks that we were welcome to sit in the restaurant and order a glass of wine while we waited (which we were happy to do and pay for). After the group left, we walked into the restaurant, and before we were even able to sit, a waiter came over and said they were not serving food anymore. We clarified it was just to grab a drink (which were informed by their colleague at the wine store was 100% ok, and from whom we just purchased a $90 bottle of wine from) , but he said sorry they are closed (it was 4pm and website says open until 5, and everyone else that we spoke to that WORKS THERE told us to go to restaurant and could wait there), meanwhile there were a bunch of tables that were eating mid-meal. That is despicable service and lack of business awareness. Instead we left and had to wait outside in 38 degC. Ridiculous. Worst service ever. Also we are are brown. All the people inside (and the server) were white. Make of that what you will. We did.

As well as a super cute dog (labradoodle - we later learned is a diva- but still so cute!) We were seated and well taken care of by our server who not only gave us some great suggestions but passionately told us the beautiful story of how the vineyard came to be! (I'll save that surprise and interesting story for you to discover!) We loved the open air patio so much we visited the great gift shop and peaked at the dinner menu that had us booking a reso before we left! We returned that evening for an amazing dinner! We started and shared the charcuterie- lots of great choices even for the one none cheese lover in the group! I had the ceasar salad with some of the best prawns I've ever tasted- they were juicy and garlic flavored- my favorite. My partner had the Ragu and he's still talking about it weeks later! The steak our friend had was perfectly cooked and came with a lot of tasty smashed potatoes and veg- enough he was able to share (yay me!) We were too full for dessert so had more wine instead! Now Lakeland country is awesome for white wines but of all the reds I had in this region, the Pinot here was my favorite! We definitely reccomend the vineyard and Chaos, the restaurant! Can't wait for our next Vernon/ Kelowna adventure!
