I've been to Blinds Gallery a few times to have my Hunter Douglas blinds repaired. They're always prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. On my latest visit I needed to repair the cord on my blind. I dropped off my blind at 10am. I got a call at 10:49am that it was fixed! This is as good as it gets, I'm not sure what the other reviewer is on about. I (actually) bought several Hunter Douglas blinds from Blinds Gallery and am completely satisfied with my order. If you take the time to actually stop by or call the owner is very friendly, I've received excellent customer service from him. As far as expensive, if you shop around for Hunter Duglas you will like his prices. Maybe you should call a few Hunter Douglas reps before you call Blinds Gallery because then you will know definitively that he has the best prices around. The quality of the blinds are great. I've owned Graber and Bali and numerous generics over the years and I always find that the longest lasting blinds have been my Hunter Douglas. The blinds I purchased are motorized and they are such a joy to operate. Press one button and they go up to the desired height every time. We had a 2023 new year goal to install 3 new motorized floor to ceiling blinds in our bedroom. We knew nothing about blinds, other than on line searches. Our first, and only stop was Blinds Gallery. Scott introduced us to multiple options and gave us the pros and cons of each. He was instrumental in picking the correct blinds. We took home the sample book and picked a sample the same night. The following day we received a quote and our blinds were ordered. 2 weeks later our new blinds were installed. I purchased 25 top of the line Hunter Douglas motorized blinds, more than half of them have failed and they have been unable to restore them to full function for over a year. Brian, has been combative and disrespectful and neither the Blinds Gallery nor Hunter Douglas have even done me the courtesy of explaining why they have all failed. Stay away. read more

I really like this place. Brian, the owner, is always involved. Years ago, we found Blind Gallery when we had a problem with a cord on a set of Hunter Douglas blinds and needed a restringing. In two weeks, it was fixed perfectly. We have used them a few times since then. The company is family owned and Brian has worked with me and my wife on some curtains and drapes where we had our designer provide the fabric. Service is fast and prices are reasonable. The selection of products are very good. It is very hard to find small, local, family-owned businesses like this anymore. Strongly recommend. read more

In 2009 we bought Hunter-Douglas custom top-down/bottom-up pleated/insulated shades for our bedroom windows through Costco. They were pricey, but have worked flawlessly since February 2009. Yesterday morning they suddenly failed. It took me a long time to find out any information through Costco, as they no longer deal with Hunter-Douglas. Eventually Hunter-Douglas told me to contact Blinds Gallery, the dealer in our neighborhood, to repair our shades. The fellow at Blinds Gallery knew exactly what needed to be done and promised me to have them fixed "by the end of the week." I expressed my disappointment that we would have to spend several nights sleeping without blinds, and asked whether they could please put a rush on it. He said he couldn't promise a quicker turnaround because they were very busy. But lo and behold, he called today, barely26 hours after I brought the shade in, and said it was repaired! Had an excellent experience here. Brought my shade in to be fixed. I had thought that it had a serious problem but it turned out to be something very simple and it was not actually in need of repair. They could have charged me the full repair fee anyway, as I would not have known the difference. Instead they were completely honest with me and took care of me. It is hard to find companies with such great customer service and this level of honesty. Hats off to Brian. This place is great. I recently purchased some Hunter Douglas window treatments from another company (*not* Blinds Gallery) and the original sales person really pushed the Hunter Douglas product; I was eventually sold because of the quality and the warranty. When the treatments were installed, there was an issue with my duettes. I had such a difficult time having them come back to help that I eventually called Hunter Douglas myself to explain my frustration and the issue. They immediately put me in touch with Blinds Gallery, and I spoke with Brian and someone was at my place within days and in the middle of a very busy period for them! What was a 3 month ordeal previously was ultimately resolved within an hour! Their installer (I believe his name was Joe) with Blinds Gallery was so very kind, I really felt heard. He inspected the product and made several attempts to resolve the issue, and he didn't leave until I was happy. Honestly I have not gotten customer service like that ever, and my only regret is that I didn't know about this place from the start. These guys are the real deal. They are respected and trusted by Hunter Douglas and from experience, I can say I know why. While I'm at it, Hunter Douglas may be a bit pricier than other competitive brands, but they seriously stand by their product and I'm sold for life. read more

Hunter Douglas authorized a repair service at this shop and the overall experience ended very poorly. Blinds Gallery did not address the functionality problem of these custom shades and had no answers for reasons. Worse yet, I took the time to have these custom shades bubble wrapped and when I returned they were laying out on counter, unwrapped, with new soiled marks on the head rail of one of these custom shade. All the owner could say was "not my fault" and too contact Hunter Douglas on their manufacturing defects. UGH! Not good! read more
