Ended up purchasing a dress from this shop and has a couple simple alterations done, add straps and a hook and eye to make the dress a little bit tighter. The alterations come apart within 37 minutes of my daughter wearing the dress, right as she was leaving to her Senior prom. I called the shop to inform them what happened Andy they said that the seamstress was "going through a hard time" and wasn't doing good work, and they had been receiving a lot of calls. The girl I spoke To said that she has noticed the issues with the straps but was told to leave it alone instead of fixing it or redoing it. She had me text her photos of the dress while we were on the phone and proceeded to laugh while looking at said photos. The owner text me later that night saying I would only be refunded for the alterations which was $15.62. The dress cost $380 out the door. I asked for a refund of half the cost or be allowed to return the dress for a full refund. I was never responded to again. This is horrible customer service. Do not go here, they don't seem to care about you or your daughter, only money. read more

I ordered a dress from Bling Dress when my dress arrived. It was the wrong dress. I reached out to customer service they wanted to give me a $70 credit and I would have to keep the dress I have no use for. I was told that I can get a refund but the cost of shipping would be on me I went to DHL like the rep said the cost to ship it back $143 I paid $217 for the dress. I went on line looked up the dress I received and it was $99. So not only did they send the wrong dress but a cheaper one at that now the customer service rep has blocked my emails and I can't get an answer back from her. This company is a scam company. The customer service is out of sight! They helped my daughter try on dresses without any pressure to rent. We were also shown tips and tricks to make the dress she loved "dress code restriction" friendly. Their prices and selection is great. read more

This place was AMAZING. I went looking for a formal dress for my husband's law school ball and found so much to choose from. They had so many options and they were still expecting about 100 returns when we got there. The owner was so friendly and accommodating when we went earlier in the day on accident before store hours and the girls working in the evening were just as wonderful. I think the new owner recently bought the place so if you're looking at older reviews, they will be different/potentially more negative. If I could give this more stars, I would. They have stuff for all ages. I was worried I'd look like a teenager going to prom but they had mature styles that were still young and fun as well. read more

The shop is dirty, some dresses are in poor condition with bottoms tattered and missing sequins and flowers on dresses that have those features, don't think I would come back! read more

I came to dress collective for my daughter's first prom. They had a great selection, and one particular staff was exceptional and kind. I wish I could remember her name to give her a shout out! The reason for 3 stars is because I was charged $30 after returning my daughters dress. I brought the dress back in time on the scheduled day that I was supposed to, even signed a paper stating that I returned it. When I contacted Dress Collective via phone call I never got a answer or a call back. I left a text message saying I was charged $30 to my card and was inquiring what the charge was for. On Dress Collectives voicemail says to leave a message or a text and they will get back within 24 hours. It had been several days and I still hadn't received a call back. I had left another text message asking to please give a call back regarding the charge to my card, and if I didn't receive a call back I would dispute the charge. I finally received a text back right away saying it was two charges for late fees. I let them know I bought it back on time. They asked the location I bought it back to and they said they would refund my money that day. No apologies either. A week went by and I still hadn't received my money back. The charge was disputed. I wonder how many ppl they make money off of claiming they didn't return the rentals on time? read more

It was crowded so we came back. They had by far the best selection of any of the places we tried and the staff was very pleasant and helpful if you wanted it. One of the places we went to seemed to have mainly shiny satin bridesmaids style dresses but you could get more sophisticated looking and to us more attractive dresses here. If you didn't want it they were there to allow you to shop without bothering. If you wanted an alteration to make the dress more or less modest they were willing to do it at no extra charge and the cost of rental was a quarter what it would have been to purchase. I am absolutely in LOVE with the Dress Collective! I can't say anything bad about this place! I have been going there since the store pretty much started. I immediately was opened with loving arms from the owner and staff! I was running for a pageant and spent hours, and days trying to find the perfect dress (I apparently am super picky). The staff helped me with dress after dress, they were so patient with me! I am Miss Hobble Creek for Springville/Mapleton city, and the Dress Collective has supported me on numerous occasions throughout my reign! I have gone in the day before an event and found amazing dresses! They are always so accommodating and do anything they can to help me, even with it being last second! The dresses are in style, such an amazing selection! I am a thicker girl and they have dresses in all shapes and sizes! I have left numerous dress shops in tears from feeling to big for dresses. And I have NEVER felt that way here! I have always left feeling confident and excited! The building is adorable! They have expanded and built more dressing rooms to accommodate their customers. Their staff is always the sweetest. They jump right up to help you and greet you the second you walk in the door! Every worker has a great work ethic and is so cute! But most importantly, this store has the most incredible owner. I cannot say enough good things about Brit! She has been the absolute biggest sweetheart to me! She has always remembered my name! Every time I see her, she always makes sure I am doing ok and finding the dress I need. It starts from the top! And the success of her business shows the love she has for her store. She truly has put everything into this store, and it shows! I truly recommend this store to everyone out there! I promise you will not be disappointed! I love the Dress Collective!!!
