Go see Sarai! She has been coloring my hair for a year, and before that she styled my hair for pageants, photoshoots, and job interviews. She's given me fabulous, natural looking golden highlights with a beautiful warm base that looked really natural with my skin tone. I loved that color, and she did it over hair that had been dyed cherry red for years. Removing red is NOT easy to do and coloring over it is even more difficult. I was so impressed by that transformation and loved the look. Then, I decided to go blonde. She gave me a gorgeous, on-trend ombre blonde and used this pretty pastel pink toner for the most subtle and luminous effect. She has been maintaining my ombre blonde since. On my most recent visit, she pulled my highlights a little bit higher for a more cohesive look when my hair is up. The highlights are placed so perfectly. They are natural looking but not too subtle either, and they blend my ash-brown roots into my ombre blonde tips really well. It's so pretty and feminine. Plus she's super nice and fun to talk to! I've paid hundreds to have my hair highlighted at top LA salons and hated the results. Sarai has never let me down, I always leave with exactly what I want. I highly recommend her for event styling and hair coloring. She's very affordable, too! If this was Scottsdale, Sarai would easily be a $200+ stylist. read more

This place was absolutely fantastic! Last time I had an ombre done it was at a Tony and Guy, and it was the first time I had ever dyed my hair. To make a long story short, the girl completely destroyed my hair, so I was skeptical about dying my hair again. I came to bliss and I had an appointment with Sarai, and let me tell you, she is absolutely amazing! She is so easy to talk to and she exceeded my expectation! She uses high quality salon products and I am officially a forever client with her My hair is very thick and very dark and I didn't think it was possible to do what she did to my hair, and she did an amazing job! I was very excited to go to this salon. I booked a hair cut and a forehead & upper lip threading. When I walked in there, the staff wasn't welcoming. Stefani was my designer. At first I was really impressed, cuz she did a good job washing my hair( comparing to all the other poor services I had even from high end salons). I felt pretty comfortable when she was cutting my hair. She did such a great job blow drying it. I felt great, until she started threading my forehead. She finished my forehead and upper lip in 3 minutes, as you can imagine it wasn't clean enough!! I was disappointed. The most frustrating part is two days after i washed my hair, then I found out there's a part of my hair next to my right cheek is way longer than others....$45 hair cut and $15 threading... They're very reasonably priced, super nice, and Ashley was very knowledgable about the products and made a couple of recommendations for me. I got lash extensions done by Ashley. She took about 30 minutes which I thought was nice, but I found that it was because she wasn't very precise. Most extensions are attached to my skin, as well as multiple lashes rather than one extension to one lash. I've lost a lot of my natural lashes because of this. They do not feel like they were applied properly, and I am not even sure that she is licensed to apply lash extensions. I feel like I could have done a better job myself. The extensions she used are very hard and feel like plastic, so they're uncomfortable. The whole experience felt rushed and she didn't seem to really care if I liked my lashes as she didn't give me a mirror to see them once she was done. She charged more than I have ever paid for lash extensions before ($105 before tip), and it was not worth at all it in my opinion. read more

I have been calling around to multiple salons to contract for my wedding hair and make-up day of. I REALLY wanted to support the owner, since her husband is a firefighter and I like to support firefighter families. BUT, it was so difficult to reach them to set anything up. The receptionist was not very polite, and it has been a few weeks since my first phone call. I was sent the bridal contract which seemed hopeful, but I can't get a hold of anyone to talk about it or give them my business. I was very disappointed with the customer service at this salon. If they don't want the business, I will go somewhere else who does want the business. read more

I was really excited to go here after reading the other Yelp reviews. I went in for color, and told the stylist I wanted darker and to cover all the grey in my hair. I'm not sure where the disconnect happened, but I walked out with the same hair color except for darker roots, and there is still a LOT of grey in my hair. I'm not one to complain, but after talking to some friends they encouraged me to go back and say something, especially after telling them I paid over $100. It said online that they were open until 7, but when I got there at 5 the shop was totally closed. I'm so disappointed, especially because now I am going to be causing my hair extra damage to have it dyed again. read more

Sarai @ Bliss is amazing. I was looking for a new beautician that is PLEASANT. !!! I got a referral and gave her a try. I took several pictures & wanted my "mistake" fixed. I had bleached blonde hair and she was able to match my original auburn. I later took my son back to get his hair unmatted after a bad wreck, and she was happy to help. She got us in right away. Very disappointed. I went in once before and showed pictures of what I wanted but was talked out of going as dark as I wanted it. It still looked good since I had super yellow ends with dark roots before and they blended it to make it look ombré'd. But again, not what I asked for. I went in today and showed my stylist what I wanted and she immediately said it was too dark and it wouldn't look good on my skin tone. She proceeded to argue with me and tell me I didn't know what I even wanted. It was really difficult to talk to her and I felt really uncomfortable and was almost in tears because I was nervous as to what she was even planning on doing at that point. I got up and left. I don't want blonde hair anymore and it seems as though that stylist did not want to do any big changes. She was very rude and difficult to talk to. I will not be going back. As soon as I left, I went to Aveda for a consult and the stylist there immediately had great ideas as to how to get my hair where I want it. I will not settle on something I don't want especially when I'm going to be spending a lot of money on it. read more

Tiffany was great. I hadn't had my hair cut by someone different in quite some time and I really liked what she did and how she cut my hair so that it didn't look frumpy. After so many years struggling to find someone-I have finally found my colorist! Sarai is the best-and I'm an not so easy blonde! She has great instincts and is really knowledgeable on current trends. I loved her so much that I took my son there and finally gave in on his pleads to color his hair and that was ONLY b/c I trusted her (she cares about the integrity of hair). It came out fantastic! This is definitely the best salon in town! Not only do I get my hair and nails done there I also get eye lash extensions done by Ashley which are truly awesome! My hair stylist Sonia has been doing my hair for years and she never seizes to amaze me in what she does to make my hair look good! My nails.... are always on point!! They last for weeks and the nail tech Tifany can honestly do anything I ask her to!! I find it on Pinterest and she makes it her own!! The ladies in this salon truly know what they are doing!!
