My boyfriend and I were browsing and watching hairstyling demos because he was looking for curling products. We were calm, respectful, and not doing anything disruptive. Yes, we were carrying shopping bags from other stores since we had already been shopping at the mall -- which is completely normal. However, instead of speaking to us or handling things discreetly, a staff member hovered around us and then brought a security guard directly into our personal space, positioning him right behind us. I literally said out loud, "No way they brought a security guard," and only then did the guard step away slightly. That alone shows how unnecessarily close and uncomfortable the situation had become. I also used to work in retail when I was younger, and I understand loss prevention. When there is a concern, it is always handled subtly and respectfully -- not in a way that makes customers feel watched, embarrassed, or targeted. This approach was the opposite of that. If carrying shopping bags is enough to warrant this level of surveillance, that is very concerning. The entire interaction felt intrusive and humiliating and completely ruined what should have been a relaxed shopping experience. I expect better from Sephora, especially at a major mall location. This situation should be addressed.

This is a small business so I am making a few concessions here. I think they were one person down today so only one worker--Monika who was very gracious and took me without an appointment. I asked for a spa experience and she really delivered. I enjoyed the massage intensely. She didn't rush and took her time. She spent what felt like at least 20 minutes massaging my face, neck and declotage area. I appreciate her effort. The only part that I felt was a downside was the awkward silences while waiting for the masks. If you don't mind chilling for 10 mins you'll be fine but my mind kept racing because I get restless. I would have really liked an arm, hand massage while we Waited for the masque to set to overcome the silence. Overall I'll give the service 9 out of 10. Highly recommend.

If they were nobody would do this. And I chatted with the owner today. And Im in the beauty industry I know refunds don't happen. I didn't bother asking for my money back. But I did request a free facial for the inconvenience of infection. He said that I blasted him on Facebook so no free facial. I'm sorry but u effed up my face and ofcourse I'm gunna say something. And the fact that he used that threw it in my face like "well this is why" immature and petty. U can be abit more professional and instead just say that your sorry and you cannot do that. I am on antibiotics unable to eat or sleep. Unable to work. Owners snarky excuse before he hung up on me was "there's always a risk of infection when you put a needle in your lip". Well maybe u should sit down with your client talk about what your gunna do how it's gunna go and tell them the normal healing process; take a second and make sure everything is sterile?
