We came in for a couples massage and facial spa day. The service was excellent and the spa was very clean. Really felt relaxed here. Although the store was facing a busy street, we didn't hear any noise during our massage and facial and so we are super impressed about that. I would come back for their services like pedicure! I don't give 5 stars lightly, so this is the real McCoy. Took advantage of their monthly special: Deep cleansing facial with a 10-min massage that was so heavenly, it felt like 15 min easily. Shoulder AND foot massage. Used French creams/exfoliators. Liked how she was careful with the steam machine, as other places you can barely breathe lol. All for $70 is not only great value but great service too. Free parking in back. Modern finishings, nice washroom as per pic. Highly recommended. read more

I opened a Yelp account just to review this lovely place! Firstly, it is so nice to have a place like this on the North Shore other those two other chains. It's small, but the all Japanese staff are very welcoming and made me feel comfortable right away. I started going here for pedicures just to get a feel for the ambience and let me tell you, it felt so amazing to have estheticians speak to you and each other in English. You won't feel like you are getting talked about like in some other places. The pedicures are great and then today, I booked a couples massage for 1.5 hours for my husband and I and it was so incredible. I felt like I got a massage with PURPOSE as I was stretched and massaged very slowly. My husband was quite pleased and has voiced wanting to go back again which saying something! If you're looking for excellent customer service at a nail salon and spa--I would recommend Rejuvenating Spa. These ladies do spend their time and energy taking good care of their clients' needs (unlike other nail salons around here)... because of this, I've been here many times before and the service hasn't changed; the staff is always smiling, accommodating and very polite. This is the place where I would have my mani and pedi when I'm not in a rush, and would rather have a tranquil and authentic spa experience. I've sent my partner here for his birthday, while I had my feet done. It felt rewarding to have a good massage. We both enjoyed our visit. My mum also loves this spa--she likes their personal touch. The interior decoration reflects their service. The soothing music they play complements the zen decor of the place. This was the worst experience that I've had today. I called to get appointment the day before for the next day and the lady said ok but to call the next day to confirm it. The next day I kept on calling and there was no answer and no answering service. so I thought to there. The sign was saying open but the door was locked. After knocking few times a lady came and opened the door with no mask. First of all she did not do a good job and as soon as it was done she asked my mom for $10 tip. I said the tip is voluntary and I want to pay $5 then she got so mad and upset and said no it is $10 tip for one hour. I said I will not tip you then she followed me to my car and got $5. My favourite spa! The owner, Yukari does the best facial in town. Solely focused on my skin and what I need, never focused on up-selling. She and her staff are professional and courteous and exceptionally knowledgable. They carry a fabulous skin care line that has made a huge difference to my skin. Yukari is also an amazing waxer, excellent eyebrow shaper and takes care of all the other bits. I recently had my first body scrub and steam shower there - best ever!! They have fabulous monthly specials - super reasonable!! I can't say enough about this place - small, boutique spa, super clean, lovely staff, locally owned and operated. When you tell a potential customer "YES", you can take them for a mani/pedi, even if they walked in the door twenty minutes before closing and you're normally only a wax person and your nail techs are all gone, you'd better be fully prepared to take them for a mani/pedi. (Edit: To clarify, they did not say the nail technicians were not there, only that they normally do not handle manicures.) You'd better not give them a half-arsed massage and a short soak, and not properly shape or buff their nails. You certainly shouldn't apply polish so thick to their nails that it takes an hour just to dry the topcoat. Also, you may not want to touch it to test the dryness and wreck the polish by accident, and since it's been an hour drying already and this person can't wait another hour (And be honest, do you want to wait another hour too? You should be closed by now) your customer turns down your offer to repair the damage and is sitting there with ugly, wrecked polish on their feet and hands. And just in case it isn't obvious, you might not want to let them wait for another half hour and then have their feet wrapped in plastic wrap to protect the rest of the polish from getting crushed into their socks, ...And then since it's so thick it's like play-doh and gets ruined as soon as they put their shoes back on anyways... And oh crap look at her hands... Whoa that got wrecked fast! That would all be foolish. Don't do those things. Don't make that person go home and repaint their nails for you. You'd better just say "No, our nail tech isn't here so I can't give you a mani/pedi! Sorry!" Because if you did all that other stuff and wasted two hours of someone's time and took 80$ for the job, it won't matter how much nice hot lemon tea you give or how quickly and efficiently you waxed their pits, or how pleasant your disposition, They probably won't come back. Like EVER. For anything - even the stuff you did well. And I hate to be the bearer of bad reviews but they might just give you a negative review on the internet and wreck your chances of getting more great customers who would appreciate your fine services. Just in case you were wondering. *Edit* I'd like to note, Wax was well done, fast, and painless. Service was great. Just don't go in last minute - book an appointment for nails. I'm sure your experience will be different than mine. read more

Sweet elegant spa; fabulous pedis, massages, and waxing. Reasonable prices. Staff are relaxed and personable. It's like the opposite of a nail salon assembly line- and they use high quality products- including some sort of natural sugar rub during the pedis. Never smells chemically. My husband treated me to a couples foot massage here for our 10 year anniversary last week. Neither of us had ever had a foot massage (other than the minute bit of massage you get with a pedi) and it did not disappoint! In fact, I think hubby is hooked! From the outside, this spa is quite unassuming, but inside it is clean, zen-like and has a lovely calming effect. The girls who did our massages were super lovely, soft-spoken and quick to take cues. Upon entering the room both hubby and I noticed how hot it was - so much so we both felt a bit sweaty. Immediately after entering the room (after we'd gotten in our beds) they asked if it was 'warm enough' to which we told them it actually felt too warm and within minutes they had adjusted the temp to a very enjoyable level. The massage started off with a calf massage which hurt a bit for me (I'm sensitive) and I mentioned to ease up and she immediately adjusted the pressure. Throughout both girls periodically checked with both of us on the pressure, and spent an even amount of time on both legs and feet. Both of us felt like the time flew by and we agreed it felt like we were walking on a cloud for the rest of the day! I instantly wanted to book another treatment at Rejuvenating Body Spa - perhaps a Pedi or massage next time. The customer service was lovely, and the attention to detail was spot on! read more

Compared to try to find a couples massage in Bellingham WA I could find an appointment quickly. Also the cost here is way cheaper then what I found in WA. This spa was so great! My love and I had pedicures. Best leg and foot massage I have had in a very long time. We then had a 30 minute couples massage that was awesome. The therapists asked about pressure frequently and were really respectful throughout the entire service. I also had a manicure and had an equally fantastic arm and hand massage. I had a 1hr body massage with Satoko and it was the best massage I've had in years. Satoko is really the one that made the experience a 5 star rating but I do have to add that the spa itself is very clean, the room was spacious, and she used natural massage oils (for me that's a plus).
