Ive loved this salon since they opened. I've since moved to Ennis and still make the drive back to Kaufman. It's so spa like and the treatment I've always received has made me feel like I'm walking into a spa in Dallas! I love this kind of treatment for a small town. The services I receive are always top quality & I always leave feeling so relaxed from being pampered. You'll love the friendly staff & if you don't want to wait then book an appointment! even without an appointment they've always worked incredibly hard to always get me in a timely manner! The front door was filthy inside and out. The attendant at the front, had an earphone in his ear and talked to someone the entire time I was there, including while he was talking to me. The place looks unclean and run down. The menu was ancient and in a binder with old sleeves. The cart and contents of the cart the person used to give me a "pedicure" were filthy. Because everything was so dirty I chose not to get any nail trimming or filing done. Instead, I had to pay $40 to get a basic pedicure that only included a scrub, half a massage and a clear "topcoat"on my toes which by the way did not shine. Also, what's crazy is the entire application of oil on only one of my legs was spent on one calf and she probably spent 3 minutes on my other calf. This was a really, really, really bad experience. I will not be going back. Ever. Way too much wrong to overcome. I would never visit here for my nails either based on the cleanliness or lack of. Yuck. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews but I am highly dissapointed. Nice people get taken advantage of and I guess this is our platform to speak up. I went in for a full set- dip, and a pedicure with gel polish. The nails started out good. They were way too long but she said they would be shortened when she filed them. Then the dreaded tech switch happened halfway through. Anytime the man in a suit or the woman in the fancy dress steps in, you know it's not going to end well. I want someone who knows how to do the service I pay for. He clearly did not know how to finish the nails. One hand has huge, fat nails and the other hand is slim and elegant. My thumbnail was massive on my right hand. I asked him to file them down. He said my right thumb was too wide but he would fix it... eyeroll... he only filed that one and barely knew how to use the filing machine. I hid that hand all day until I could get home and spend hours filing them down to normal. I was embarassed and sad that it was so expensive. read more

I've been coming here consistently for 4 months. Came in today asking for a refill and a pedicure. My tech finished my nails and applied clear coat then told me to sit in chair for what I thought was my pedicure and I'm 20 weeks pregnant so I asked if I could go to restroom she then told me to wait about 5-10 min for the clear coat to dry so I could go and I told her that was fine. Then another tech told her to sit me in the chair and she told her I had to go to the restroom and they exchanged words and she came back not even a min later and told me they were dry and I was good. I touched the nails to shower they were still wet and I told her I wasn't in a hurry and was going on vacation so i wanted them to look good after going back and forth a bit she took the top coat off and let me go to the bathroom and put it back on when I came back. Then I sat down for what I thought was my pedicure in a chair that was broken and wouldn't let me sit up so I was basically was laying down for my toes. I asked 3 times during my nail apt about my toes to make sure they were still getting done and I was told yes that they'd get done after and I came to realize she had slipped then pedicure and only polished my toes so I asked am I not getting a pedicure and the woman I spoke to when I came in said "you never asked for pedicure!" Which I know I did and I had been coming for months getting the exact same thing every time so i don't know why this time I'd get anything different. I told her I did ask for pedicure and after going back and forth for a bit she said well do it do it for you after skipping nail trimming, cuticle care, filing to shape and everything that goes with the pedicure that is nail care. So I declined and said I'd like to go elsewhere to have my pedicure done since I got argued with and everything else while trying to explain what I wanted wasn't being met. The front desk woman got upset with me when I told her I didn't want them to do my pedicure and told her I was going to go elsewhere and snapped at me. Used to really love this salon and this experience was enough for me to never want to come back. I'll be going to Kaufman nails so they can fix the issues they didn't want to help fix. For future reference instead of telling a customer they never asked for something you should just offer to give them what they want and not argue. Thanks. read more

First time I visited was for dip nails, pedi & eyebrow wax. I arrived at my appointment time making sure the services I wanted were noted. I had the pedi first & was left in the chair waiting for 30 minutes before I got someone to pay attention to me. She acted totally surprised I wanted other service s. Yesterday, again with an appointment, for gel-x nails. I asked 3 different people if gel-x could be cut short like my current set of dip nails. Was asked to pick out my gel color & was directed to a station. As my nails were soaking to remove the dip, I asked again if gel-X could be cut short. Technician got up & spoke with several people only to come back to tell me gel X cannot be short. Told him that I only wanted the dip powdered removed. He got then came back with a manicure set up & a bottle of gel polish. Again I explained I only wanted dip removal. He became angry & cut the length (crooked) with nail trimmers then got up & walked away. read more

I made an appointment over Facebook for 2:45 today. Got to the nail bar at 2:30. Wasn't greeted or anything by anyone. I check in and sit down, still no one had greeted or talked to me at all. I sat in for over an hour and still, no one. Don't give the option to book appointments through Facebook if you can't honor those appointments, and greet and keep up with clientele. There were a few people who got there after me who were able to get sat down with no questions. None of that is acceptable. read more

What an experience! I was able to make a pedicure reservation through their Facebook page DM. Within a few minutes, had my reservation set. Easy parking and greeted by a pleasant employee who immediately confirmed my reservation and while choosing a nail color, she assigned me to a tech and chair. The place was PACKED. The service was okay for such an expensive price. I was never offered anything to drink. I took my mom with me and they sat her next to me just to have her wait 20 mins for her water to be turned on. This place has quick service but the quality is not there. Secret up charges for length and shape and I felt rushed through my appointment. My cuticle was cut during my service and the gel application was below average. My moms nails (also pictured) were supposed to be a pink powder fill, her nails were filled clear powder. She was then charged for a pink powder French tip fill. Would not recommend very over priced for the quality of service. read more

I came for a manicure and pedicure. Told thirty minute wait which was fine except they started 3 other people first who came in after me who did not have appointments. They lady who did my pedicure cut my cuticle causing it to bleed. I've come here a few times and the wait is always frustrating even with an appointment. The front desk person was nice. The guy that did my nails is very cold, did not seem to like his job, first time I've ever had manicure/nail job and don't think I want another one. When he was done he just walked away. The other customers were offered a drink I did even get water. Not happy with my nail job and he didn't even clean the glue under my nails so my skin stuck to my nails all day. Thanks but no thanks! read more
