I had a very upsetting experience here. I booked an appointment before the salon was set to open having been given the idea that I would be the only person there. I was the only client in the hair cutting station but there were at least 6 other people in the salon (staff and clients) I had discussed with the stylist beforehand the look I was going for (sent her two pictures and we talked about it) but ended up with something that does not come close to resembling that. I went from having my hair the longest I've had it since I was a kid to the shortest I've had it in years. By the time I realized how much she was cutting it was too late. I had hoped for the best and even gave it a couple of days to get used to it, but I can't. It's too drastically short and will take a year to get some length back. I really wish I had never set foot in this place. Brooke was very sweet but unfortunately did not really listen to my needs. read more

She takes great care of my hair, I come regularly for dyeing cutting and blow drying with the best results, she always hits the right style and color and I learn a lot. We talk a lot as well and I am always looking forward to go there. Lise Ann is a really great professional for facial skin care and electrolysis. She does my brows, electrolysis and skin needling. Soooo my daughter is 12 and I thought hey I will just go to one of these local hair cutters and save the time.... WOW was I so wrong!! They butchered my daughters hair 2 days before 8th grade!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. I bought the Groupon to get my nails done here, and ended up paying for my service and returning the Groupon. The people who work there wear pajamas and look like they just woke up-complete TRASH. The woman who did my Gel Manicure had not a clue on how to do a French Manicure and was disgusting. Again, I love getting my nails done and make it a regular occurance. I have no problem paying money for service, and for the $18 Groupon I was willing to take what I got, but the experience I received from Boca Bliss was a nightmare. First time in a salon in Boca, moved here a few months ago from Chicago and found this wonderful place one day while I was getting my Starbucks next door. Very friendly staff, and my hair stylist was wonderful. She explained my highlights and cut process in advance with great detail and described in such way that made feel very comfortable about her skills. I explained that I'm looking to switch salons and was interested in speaking with someone. I was visiting my daughter who attends college in the area. My hair looked terrible and she recommended I call Bliss. I called hoping they could fit me in. Well, they did and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I had a male stylist wash and cut my hair. I don't recall his name but he was great. He used some great products on my hair and blew it dry. I totally looked like a different person from when I first walked in. If I lived in the area Bliss would definitely be my salon of choice. I highly recommend it. The ladies at the front desk were nothing less than snarky. The spa services in the back are noisy and the make shift private pedicure stations are made up of old curtains. I really liked this salon. Christen gave me a blow out. Definatly a stellar job. It lasted all night and looked amazing. Even the next day it honestly still looked great. Also had makeup done I believe( Julia) was the makeup artist I had, she defiantly took her time and it was worth it. She is somewhat of a perfectionist. Did great smokey eye shadow. The place has an open lay out nail station and massages in the back of the salon. The massage area was very quiet and quite comfortable. When I was done my afternoon getting beautified they even gave me a cute little gift bag with a Sebatian hair gloss sample. Everyone was really sweet and helpful. I went to Bliss for their special for the month keratin treatment. I had it done on a Friday. I did not wash my hair for 4 days. When I washed my hair I used the shampoo and conditioner that I purchased at the salon that the stylist recommended. As per the instructions that the stylist gave me, I washed my hair 4 days later. I dried my hair and used my flat iron, also as instructed, and my hair looked okay but a little frizzy. The next morning I woke up and my hair was very frizzy. I went back to the salon and spoke with the stylist. I questioned her and said I don't think the keratin took. She responded that "it's your hair - the keratin treatment worked". I said that I understand that my hair was damaged, and also told her when I had gone in for the keratin treatment that I had a keratin treatment that only lasted about 6 weeks. She told me that as long as I follow her instructions, it should last at least 2 months. Well, 5 days later it looks like I didn't have any treatment! The fact that she didn't offer to redo the treatment and just brushed me off infuriates me! I would have discussed this with the manager, but to be honest, I was too upset and left rather than cause a scene. Big 0 for customer service! read more
