Bozna is phenomenal! She's also a professionally trained PT and has a true understanding of how the body works. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. They make it very easy when you check in. I've had both the Haddado face lift and a Medical massage by her. I've been into of the treatment rooms, they are both lit in a relaxing manner, the massage beds and chairs are comfortable, and they offer hangers on the back of the door to hang your clothing. The bathroom is accessible, modern and clean. The entrance is slightly difficult to find but stuff makes it easy by coming to get you and guiding you ! Everything was great. My only suggestion would be, during checkout they offer you a tea and glass of water as well as the bill all at the same time. I think I would prefer to be offered the tea before the massage, and for the massage therapist to hand me the water so that it's a separate experience from when you handed the bill. Little touches, but just some things I noticed I have liked at other spas I've visited. For sure, I will be returning and always recommending the center. It was a wonderful experience. read more

I have had other treatments at Balance Spa and all have been wonderful and helpful. Today I had my second scar tissue release with Dr. Bo. She is an expert and caring medical professional in this specific type of homeopathic modality for massaging the areas of my abdomen that developed internal scar tissue from a well done abdominoplasty. It's just something that happens. I will have several more treatments with Dr. Bo. Everyone at Balance Spa in Boca Raton is wonderful, including receptionist and spa coordinator Kassidy who checked me in and out today. I receive extra special scar tissue release massage therapy from Dr. Bo, who is trained, certified and a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She is an expert, with her specific knowledge of the lymph system and how to target the scar adhesions, which sometimes form following surgery. The spa and staff are all exceptional. I am currently on vacation from New York and stopped in to try this small business spa because their prices looked too good to be true for Boca Raton and because of their glowing reviews. The parking was easy (and free) and the suite was easy to find. Walking up to the spa it smelled so good and when you walk in it smells even better. The girl at the front desk was incredibly kind and welcoming... she offered me tea and water before my service and had tea, water, and a hot towel waiting for me when I walked out of my service. I had a 90 min massage with Allison and when I say I came out of that room a new person I mean I came out of the room a WHOLE brand new person. I have never received such a massage before, literally ever, and my wallet may start to resent me because I may just have to fly down here anytime I need a massage since I have never received that quality in NYC. So glad I found Balance Spa!! It had been a few years since I've treated myself to a facial and this one did not disappoint. From scheduling the appointment to parking in their covered garage, to walking into this beautiful space, I was happy & relaxed... and that was before my treatment even started! :) The spa is small & beautiful & smells incredible and I felt immediately welcomed as soon as I entered. Kearsten (not sure if I spelled her name right) was kind, she gave me a good explanation of what she was going to do and she told me to just relax or take a nap while she "did her thing." Of course, I didn't want to sleep, I wanted to feel and smell and experience this time being pampered. My time was over before I knew it and I felt relaxed, refreshed and renewed! I felt no pressure to purchase their recommended products if I didn't want to, although she explained what might be beneficial to my skin. This is a really quaint and pretty spa. They offer extra little touches like hot towels and tea after your service (although my tea was cold, so wish they would've paid attention to that.) They have an infrared sauna available to book which is really nice after your massage. It was quiet and calm and everyone was really nice. My massage was good, but nothing I would want to rebook for. My therapist asked me a few questions before I got on the table, but once I was ready for the massage and she came back in the room, she didn't inquire about any comfort levels. Never asked if the headrest was positioned correctly, if I was warm enough, if the pressure was right. Not a word. I felt like that was bad form for a massage therapist and they should always check in. I really wanted more pressure, but wasn't sure if I should ask for it because she didn't offer it. I would like to try another therapist or get a facial here, as the spa itself was a nice reprieve from the busy world. read more

Visited Boca for a few days from NYC. Came across Balance Spa on Yelp and I am so glad I did. My sister and I received the best massages from Alexandra and Mary. They were extremely knowledgeable and made sure we were aware of everything they were doing. Very welcoming and informative. We received the Purifying Massage. It was 75 minutes with included a seaweed wrap, body brushing with is good for lymphatic system, full body massage with essential oils, and heat therapy. It was extremely relaxing. I feel peaceful and blissful after today's muscle clay massage and foot scrub. First timer at Balance Spa and I cannot wait to return!! I haven't had a massage in years. Having a desk job and arthritis (all joints), I have constant joint pain. After reading reviews for many spas on Yelp, this spa's ratings & variety of services stood out. Called to make appointment early this morning. Carla, who answered, was nice and even nicer in person which is refreshing since my experiences at other spas, the employees haven't been pleasant. Upon arrival, I felt relaxed while in their waiting room - good sign! My masseuse was Carmen...Angel!! She asked me a few questions, in order to understand how to go about massaging me, and that made me more relax. I can't get massaged to deep and I don't tolerate a lot of scents. She had me smell the lemongrass scrub for my feet, which was fine. Overall, the 90 minute massage was exactly what I needed. And the foot scrub, well my feet look & feel fabulous. I've been here 4 times and I'm seriously so in love! I've been looking for a place that I could get a great facial for my acne-prone skin. Most places "massage" not deep clean or exfoliate. That was not the case here! First, let me tell you about how beautiful the decor is here. You walk in and instantly feel comfortable and relaxed. They offer water, tea, and nuts while you wait. The front desk staff has been so welcoming every time. I had my first (and every) facial with Carolyn. She is so sweet and asks all the right questions. She instantly knew how to treat my face and recommend other treatments I could do in the future to treat my concerns. I was so relaxed throughout my entire facial and even though she was doing a lot of extracting, it wasn't painful at all! A few weeks later, I tried the Derma Peel Pro (60mins) and was also very satisfied with the treatment. A few days ago I tried the Collagen Induction Therapy (microneedling). She numbs your face first and then asks what your main concern is (acne scars, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation). I didn't feel anything for the most part. Carolyn follows up the procedure with an LED light treatment to alleviate the redness and accelerate the healing process. I've done microneedling before somewhere else but my face was red and splotchy for almost a week. After my treatment with Carolyn, it was only about 36 hours before my face went back to normal and even the redness was barely anything in that time. If you're looking for a quality spa with a staff that knows what they're talking about, Balance Spa is definitely the place for you! read more
