When we bought our home, the builder included a one-year termite warranty with Northwest Exterminating, which we extended and added pest control to. Customer service has been excellent. Our service associate is professional, reliable, and very thorough. I also appreciate that they use pet and family friendly treatments since we have a dog. That said... I'm not convinced the pest control is working. In my previous home which I battled with spiders. Once I hired a pest control company, they didn't completely disappear but when I saw them they were not alive. With Northwest, even after treatments, I'm still seeing more activity than expected. I keep bug spray in multiple rooms, which shouldn't feel necessary. The only thing that seems consistently effective are the sticky traps, they definitely catch bugs. I understand some environments have more pests than others, but I'd expect to at least see some results after treatment. Right now, it's hard to tell if the service isn't as effective or if these Middle Georgia spiders are just built different. We're sticking with them for now and hoping next season brings fewer uninvited guests.

When I called the second time and got the manager she claimed they never said that. Now she says she will turn this over to a collection agency. I would advise against using this company due to their inability to accurately run their office. I have had to cancel two checks which has cost me $50 which is almost as the bill I am trying to pay.

I called White Lavender Pest Control to see if they could help--and they did. Mr. Windham was extremely kind and patient as I explained the situation. He sprayed my entire car and calmed my nerves about the ant problem. He was also quite generous and did not charge me for his services (he also didn't ask for this review). #Orkin I am really trying to be patient with this company but I'm finding it increasingly more…read moredifficult each time I try to get answers and I'm ignored. Well over a year ago we called Orkin to address an issue we had. IMMEDIATELY upon arrival we we sold a $1500+ plan to treat what we were told was termites. Putting our trust in this company, we moved forward and paid for the $1500 treatment. The treatment required several revisits before the job was complete. Not long afterwards we were notified that in order to continue to be protected we would be required to pay an additional $250+ for yearly inspections, which we reluctantly did. VERY SOON AFTER we paid for yearly inspections we began to notice the VERY SAME activity in the VERY SAME spot that was initially said to have had termites. We called #Orkin and asked for a followup inspection. It took a few days but a technician was dispatched. He did not have any answers other than saying he needed a sample of the bugs, which appear to be beetles, the SAME bugs that were present at the onset. He advised us that the bugs would be sent to the lab and treatment would be determined from there. Well ... three weeks later and after not hearing anything back we called again. The SAME technician was dispatched and he said and did the EXACT SAME THING. He took samples of the bugs and AGAIN advised us that the bugs would be sent to the lab and treatment would be determined from there. Three MORE weeks go by and we call AGAIN, this time a supervisor was dispatched and guess what??? He advised us that the bugs would be sent to the lab and treatment would be determined from there. In addition he says that the bugs appear to be beetles and this will require a completely different treatment. I'm pretty confident that they sold us a termite treatment that we never needed and now they have left us to our own devices as we have yet to hear about the samples taken by the supervisor over two weeks ago. I've been doing some research on this company and I'm becoming more alarmed about what I'm seeing. I would NEVER RECOMMEND #ORKIN.

Arrow Exterminators performed the quarterly inspection on our house in Macon Ga on 12/2/2024. As…read morewith each previous inspection, I pointed out that there is a steady stream of black ants crawling along the foundation and going up behind the siding. Each time I have expressed a concern the ants were getting into the walls. The technician have assured me they have sprayed for ants and put out a bait to stop this and there shouldn't be anymore problems. Today 12/5/2024, I came into the kitchen and the black ants were crawling up the cabinets and on The stove. They are along the baseboard and floor. I sprayed some insecticide I had but they are still crawling. I called the technician and he said he would submit a callback and I told him that wasn't acceptable. Soon afterwards I received a call from Chris and he wanted to know what was the problem. I explained everything to him and he said the earliest they could have someone come out to treat for the ants was 12:00 today. I told him that wasn't acceptable and to bump somebody in order to get someone to come out and treat for the ants. He said that wasn't going to happen and did I want someone to come at 12:00. I'm not a happy camper with Arrow Exterminating and would not recommend them to anyone. Jerry Edmondson on the morning of December. 6, I opened the doors to the pantry and the black ants were crawling all over boxes and packages. I called Arrow Exterminators and was told they wouldn't have anyone available until Monday noon, Dec. 9 and they would send Leonard the service manager out to take care of the problem. I told the lady this was unacceptable and needed someone to come out and take care of the problem now. She told me that wasn't going to happen and the earliest they could have someone out was Monday noon. I asked her how would she like to ants crawling all over everything until Monday and she said she wouldn't like it either. She suggested that if I couldn't wait until Monday noon, maybe I could find somebody else to treat the ants. I made one call to another pest control company and they had someone out within a few hours. After their treatment, I haven't seen any more ants. On Monday morning December 9, I called Arrow Exterminators and cancelled my service with them. I would not recommend Arrow Exterminators to provide pest control for anything. Since he'd called me on his personal cellphone to ask if he could come early, I texted him. He sent a generic quote for a quarter that is good until "23." Is that 23 days, the 23th of this month? Who knows? It simply says 23. When I texted him back that he didn't send anything relating to the issue that I called him out in the first place, that he orally confirmed, never heard from him again. I would have gladly paid for a report of the issue I'm experiencing THAT he confirmed. All he was interested was German cockroaches which I don't have. All I got out of it was tied up for a couple of days waiting for him to come out here and my house reeking of cigarette smoke that enveloped him.
