This was a big job. He was on the jobsite every day until it was done and did the work within the agreed timeframe. He was careful not to damage the well and a large maple tree that we wanted to keep. My father had his own tree company for years, Z Trees, I went with, helping, so I am a bit particular what I want plus one tree was on our neighbor's property and leaning over our roof. After we…read morehad 8 trees taken down, we had lots of stumps to grind, some with root systems over 25 feet spreading throughout the front yard. Brad returned my call within a few hours and set an appointment to bid the job. Fortunately for us, he had time that very day to do the job. His bid was incredibly reasonable, and he also included some extra stumps that had been left some years ago. Because his response was so quick, there were several areas where they had to work around the logs left behind and in the way. That seemed to be no problem. They started immediately and worked the job so that I had time to make pathways to all the stumps. There were some tricky situations that took extra care (shallow water pipe from the well), but they took great care and made certain to not go too deep on that one! Being nearly 70 years old, I could not quickly move the rounds away from a mammoth poplar, some with a diameter of over 46", but Walt was able to expertly maneuver their machine around obstacles and got that giant stump ground down. After moving the huge rounds a few weeks later, we found parts of the stump and some large roots that had been buried by the logs and were unreachable. One of the impressive things they said was that if they missed anything, we could call and they would come and get it taken care of, as they guarantee their work. When I called, they responded immediately and were happy to return. They came and ground the rest of the poplar stump and some roots within in 3 days of my phone call. These guys rock and have great service and take pride in their work. Brad will be the one I call if I need more tree services!
