Not sure what's happening here but the experience was awful. I usually have had sort of nice (they tolerate you) people do my hair but today, the girl not only said 0 to me the whole time, she never asked me any questions aside from "what kind of style do you want?" I didn't want to tip her and she lied to me and made it very awkward to set my own percentage. I don't know her name but for management sake, she worked on Monday at 3:30pm on 7/13/26. She's kind, caring, and so funny and personable! She will truly go out of her way to make your experience enjoyable and I am so grateful to be her client. I didn't have a great experience with Jojo. First of all, she got my entire back and back of my shirt soaking wet! Secondly, I paid for the $75 olaplex treatment. She did this quickly while washing my hair (supposedly) and didn't let it sink it even for a minute. I do olaplex at home sometimes and it's at least a 10 minute mask. Online the product page website says to leave it in 10 minutes, she did not leave it in at all. And third, it said 75 minutes for the treatment. I was in and out in in 35 minutes. This was the worst experience. I walked in and the stylist was wearing slippers and a sweatshirt. I was in the salon for maybe 20 minutes total. There is no personalization or talk about what we were going to do to my hair or anything. I had a very pleasant experience today getting my very first blow out. All the employees were lovely and I really like how my hair looks.

Have been here multiple times and this time was by far the worst. I went with my mom and sister and we showed up 10 mins before our appointment. The manager, Monika, checked us in and when she saw our hair she started telling us she wouldn't have time because we didn't book extended time. I told her that all the other times I had been here that they never needed extended time. She tells us to wait and that the stylists would be with us shortly. 5 mins after our appointment time, the manager is asking one of the stylists to curl her hair! She is taking time from my mothers appointment to get her hair done after telling us that we should have booked extended time appointments. Luckily all stylists we had: Ella, Chloe, and Tori were amazing. Talkative, friendly and skilled. Unfortunately the stylists couldn't make up for the attitude of their manager. She told us as we were walking out (on time!) that "I guess you don't need the extended time". 30 mins after my appointment my curls have fallen out. Same goes for my sister and my mom's updo was mediocre. Not worth $55 or $85 for an updo. read more

I really really really wanted to love this place. Because how awesome is it to get a blow dry and a style and not have to do your hair for a few days? I went before a wedding this morning to save myself some time and I'm now on my way home to shower and wash my hair again. The hair has never felt worse. It feels like there is still shampoo that wasn't washed out completely. The products they use cannot be great. My hair is greasy, heavy, and somehow one giant not. I seriously can't go to a wedding with my hair like this. The girls that were there seemed so nice. I loved them but the actual blow out is not it. I'm incredibly disappointed and sad I spent my time and money there. I still tipped 25% because the girl was great, but I will not return. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I went in at the end of March as a birthday present to myself. While there, I signed up for the monthly membership of $85/mo which I was told multiple times that I could cancel or freeze at anytime. A couple of weeks later, after realizing I could not make it there as frequently as the membership would be worth, I emailed the store to cancel my membership, following the terms and conditions noted on the website for the Burlington location. I did not get a response to my email nor did I get a telephone call. My credit card was charged at the end of April despite me giving more than the required 7 business days notice. When I found this out, I called the store and was told by the woman on the phone that the agreement stated that a 3 MONTH COMMITMENT was required before cancelling. A 3 month commitment is much different than what I was told of "cancel or freeze anytime!" Additionally, on the website, the membership terms and conditions do not indicate a 3 month commitment. The woman on the phone told me she would speak to the manager and call me back. I sent a follow up email directly after confirming the conversation and I never received a phone call back or an email reply. This is an incredibly unethical business practice by this franchisee and I have yet to be reimbursed for the month I was charged after I requested cancellation. Very bad business practice and I will never set foot in that place again. Beware getting a membership because they clearly are looking to scam customers. read more

Back to 2 stars sorry Blo your blowouts just don't last. Makeup is better but I did like the makeup a little better the first 2 times. I want to love you but 3x was not the charm. My curls didn't last through my makeup and the stylist was nice enough to redo but by the time I got home the super volume big curls blowout I asked for was just sad straight and a little frizzy despite the Dreamcast that is supposed to help. Granted it was humid so not all their fault. I also watched it take like 3 people to do a mediocre French twist which frankly was not a good look for their training. I love going to one place to get hair and makeup but I just can't condone Blo when I always have to redo my hair. read more

I will not be returning and will be advising any friends and family to stay away as well. I went to have my hair curled for a wedding I had that night. As soon as she started blow drying and I felt how many times the brush was getting tangled in my hair I was skeptical. I have curly hair but rarely in my life have I had a stylist continuously get a brush stuck (lots of knots that had been pulled out on the floor later when I looked down). The blow dry took about 40 minutes (again curly hair so that's normal) but then the actual curling took maybe 10. She took large chunks of hair and just gave it a curl at the bottom. I asked her to curl them very high and tight since I assumed they would fall a little. She barely did that and also barely used any hairspray. My hair had fallen out an hour after leaving and before we even left for the wedding. Whatever product she did or didn't use was disgusting - my hair felt like straw. The next day I noticed more hair than normal shedding when I would run my hands through it and it also looked pretty damaged. I have since washed and done a couple conditioning masks hoping my hair will recover but it still smells burnt. I sincerely hope no one else experiences this mess. read more

I would give this place no stars if given the option. My daughter booked an appointment for a hair wash and blow dry. However, when my daughter arrived for her appointment, the stylist did not listen to my daughter and refused to wash her hair, despite my daughter telling her it hadn't been washed in two days and needed to be washed. The stylist then proceeded to put pin curls at the ends of her hair, despite the fact that my daughter asked for volume at the roots and no curls. I immediately attempted to remedy the situation directly with the salon manager, Monica, who assured me she would issue a refund to my credit card for the unsatisfactory service. However, it is now two weeks later and after follow-up a phone call and email, I have yet to receive the refund I was promised. The girls who work there are lovely and do a good job. They are all very young so not very experienced but you walk out feeling good. The one thing I have to comment on is the cleanliness of the salon. I don't think it gets deep cleaned. There is dust and hair on the floor and it just doesn't feel clean. I'm not sure if the owner wants to save money, but for the price of a blowout she should have someone come in every day. read more

I visited Blo blow dry bar for my hair and make up and the service was exceptional from beginning till the end. The stylist and the make- up artist both were amazing. After a quick consult, they knew exactly what I wanted and nailed it . The ambiance is so inviting and chic .. pink pillows, pink carpet and white colors in the bar make it such an inviting place. The vibe of the entire bar was so friendly- They offered me beverage choices of coffee, tea, water and mimosa! I had a hair and makeup appointment for a wedding and was very disappointed. The wedding was black tie and I wanted to get dolled up and look nice. I can do my hair and makeup but wanted to add that extra wow and get it professionally done. My hair ended up falling before I even left so we quickly needed someone else to re-do it before leaving the salon to go get ready. My makeup was subpar when I left the salon, however In all the photos from that night, I look like a ghost. My face was so pale compared to the rest of my body. And one of my false lashes was falling off mid-reception. Would definitely suggest going elsewhere if it's an important, meaningful event. read more

I went here for a blowout because I was getting re-photographed for my company website after losing a substantial amount of weight. The whole experience was awesome - Cy was my stylist and he did a great job + was very sweet. The space is spotless...my only recommendation is to ask for the hair menu when you book an appointment. They have hair styling and makeup. Will be going back for my vow renewal (I got married during the pandemic and want to pay out the vendors I had to cancel on). Also wanted to note that I am a cancer survivor and most of my hair is fake and they were ultra-sensitive from start to finish. Don't hesitate. They're awesome. read more

Don't come here. I was late I get it my fault. Did a dry style. I asked for beach waves. She used a tiny barrel curler she asked if my hair holds curls well it doesn't she sprayed 2 squirts of hair spray in my hair and said good ? NO what the heck... horrible experience. I had the best experience at Blo Burlington. I've been to Dry Bars and Blo blow dry bars. They have similar concept but Blo wins for me as it offers Hair AND Makeup. Well, both did not disappoint at this location! I was traveling in to Burlington for a wedding and needed one spot for bot Hair & Makeup. The stylist and Makeup artist did an excellent job and glammed me up. I looked and felt beautiful. overall great experience, great team, great service! Would highly recommend! read more

This review is quite late but I went here for my birthday last year. I didn't have an event or anything but wanted to treat myself and thought this place looked cute. Everyone was very nice and welcoming but it was probably the worst blowout I've ever had. I had booked for the blowout and head massage and just received a super quick shampoo. The products they use also smell really cheap and my hair smelled burnt because of them and the hair dryers. My style also lasted all of about an hour before completely falling out which is really unusual since my hair holds a style really well. It was disappointing and I'm just glad that it wasn't for an event. Green Tangerine is 5 minutes down the street and uses great products and has great stylists for a blowout. I made an appointment two weeks ahead as I was going to a wedding and wanted a specific person to do my hair. I got a call at 6:15am telling me that the stylist was in the emergency room and she wouldn't be in. I had made an appointment with Cyr so I was confused as to why this was my problem. I was told they would adjust the schedule and fit me in to see Cyr. A few minutes later I got a call from the Manager that they couldn't put me with him. I explained I had made the appointment a few weeks ago and didn't understand the issue. I was told I would be given an experienced stylist. I arrived and the stylist was very nice but couldn't get my hair to stay down, I have short hair but was told she had experience. Cyr had to step in and try and fix it. Honestly, I came home and did my hair over. I was not treated well by the owner or manager and they didn't seem to care that I was in tears as I left. A waste of $49.00. Terrible experience. I have tried their blo bar FOUR times and I was disappointed every time. I kept trying them because I love the idea of getting a quick blow dry but they will charge you random fees and purposely take longer than expected so they can charge you a fee. As soon as we checked in, they offered Mimosa and too all of us for an amazing hair wash which included very soothing head massage. I would not recommend Blo Blow Dry Bar. I scheduled online for a blow out and makeup application. When I scheduled it told me a total of $119 and when I paid for the services, it was $134. When I asked why there was a difference from when I booked online, they told me that prices had increased as of the day before... even though I booked my appointment the day before. As for the service itself, my hair was just fine, I asked for minimal curls but instead got the opposite.. but I was able to fix it on my own. My makeup was a disaster, no blending was done, no lip color was applied, I ended up taking it all off when I got home and did my own makeup. Yikes. Do not go here. It is very factory like, they want you in and out. The product pushing is insane. Less than 5 min in my stylist started talking about a product and said "you really should buy this." Then during the service she turns my chair around and made me look at the product wall. I sat down for the blow out and I was feeling wetness on me - it was the splatters of the blow out from the woman next to me from her wet hair. I want to vomit. I paid for 1 hour 40 m and they had me out in less than an hour. Um... speechless. The shine treatment isn't 15m. It's 5 seconds and it's just them spraying one of their product on you. That's it. Super claustrophobic. So so so gross to have someone's hair water on me. After $100, I wasn't even asked if I wanted my hair parted and was just send out with a jagged weird part. I wish I could have that money back. So so so so gross and gross and awful that they charged me for extra time even though it wasn't needed at all. Also the manager or front desk worker was turned around watching all of us with her arms crossed. Made me super uncomfortable. Never ever again. read more
