I was a bit hesitant, but a few weekends ago, I decided to invite some friends out to try the brunch on Sundays. Football and Food and good music, I was getting my friends hyped about it for a few days now. It was Sunday, almost 1pm, and my husbae and I pulled up on this rainy day. I saw people leaving the building, and wondered why. It's early, so the place just opened so why are people leaving already. My brow was already raised. But we proceeded to the front door anyway. I walked in first and was headed in to check it out, but to my right a lady was sitting inside a booth/room and asked for money... I cannot recall if she said $15 $20 - whatever it was I was definitely caught off guard, like ... money for what. I told my husabe and he was like oh nah... so we left. Now I see why others were leaving too in such a fast manner. We were one of them. This was the ultimate turn off. We were entering a brunch spot and they were collecting at the door. Well if this doesn't bother you, check them out. I did not smell any food and it was super dark inside. Not sure if I will ever return, but yall may have a different experience. The actual pan of seafood is good but you're going to wait an hour just to get your order taken lol it was literally 5 servers but you only saw one. (I made sure she knew she was doing an awesome job) however I had to go get my sever twice just to get a check. The people next me didn't have my server and they were having the same issues.

This venue is a win win... a real gem in the city of Portsmouth. This venue has been in existence for about a year or maybe less, but the joint venture, FitBar is going on its second year.
