After months and months of this, I had no choice but to file a formal complaint with the California Bar Association. Only then did I finally receive a partial refund. In November 2024, Marc told me he was mailing the remainder of that refund. Guess what? It never arrived--and I haven't heard from him since. I've followed up repeatedly via phone and email, and he's completely ghosted me. Marc is unprofessional, unethical, and dishonest.
