I was someone who was not very spiritual, let alone seeker help through holistic means. However, over the past year I came to understand my spiritual side and knew I wanted to find a healer. I found Erika through Yelp and after researching reviews, her website, and having a free consultation I decided to book my first session. Since then I have purchased a few more sessions and also referred my sister. My sessions started with a guided meditation which felt incredible. There are thousands of guided meditations online (e.g. Youtube), but having one at the start is a session with Erika felt different and more uplifting. The sessions would consist of topics that I needed help with. The topics vary depending on the day and what I felt boiling since the last session. They consist of but not limited to life in general, personal relationships, work, past trauma, and personal development. Without getting into the details, at the end of each session, I felt like I had discovered something deep inside me that has been blocked. Erika helped extract whatever it is that has been giving me issues and provided me with guidance moving forward. She also me cut some knots that had been holding me back. Erika is very gifted at what she does. She provides a very comfortable and safe environment that allows you to share personal information that you may not share else where. All of my sessions were conducted online through zoom due to covid. I don't believe there would be a different if it was online or in person as I am still getting the same healing.

I'm happy to say that Patricia and her team have been incredibly helpful once again. In the past, Patricia helped me grow and develop so much insight. For insight on this, as well as to how she responds to criticism, take a look at how she responds to negative reviews on Yelp. She routinely hides behind her "Board of Directors" when it comes to any complaint. She commonly responds to concerns with statements like, "all decisions are made by the board" and "I have to ask the board" - however, public records show that she's the only director. It was a struggle to obtain any kind of billing records from her and her team as they were extremely unhelpful and uncommunicative. She was, however, happy to take almost $7000 from us. My family had to obtain therapy from a different, more reputable therapist because of the trauma went through with Patricia Chan. We considered reporting her but decided we wanted to wash our hands clean of the trauma and move forward with healing instead. If you're considering her services, please do your research and find a therapist with the right credentials for your individual situation. Understanding the differences between LCSW, LMFT and PsyD will be very helpful. UPDATE: I had photos of my receipts and her business name filing showing her being the only director. Patricia Chan got my photos deleted and responded to this review (in the third person - in all other responses, she responds directly). She's also using the "this person was never a client" excuse and (passive aggressively) claiming defamation. Again, she provided therapy for members of my family - not me directly - that I paid for. There are many situations where this might happen, including but not limited to: a parent obtaining therapy for a child; a child obtaining therapy for an elderly parent; etc. But I'm not surprised she used that excuse, as that was the same excuse that was made when attempting to resolve this issue at the time of conflict. There's also a difference between defamation and sharing a negative experience regarding interactions with a business - this is my honest review of my family's experience with Patricia Chan/LiveWell Therapy. I'm happy to provide copies of my receipts and emails (me communicating directly with Chan) for anyone else having issues with this business - feel free to message me.
