After 3 years, I'm back. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. So when my panic and anxiety attacks conveniently began to tag team, I found myself back to the beginning. The universe knew exactly what it was doing sending me back to the starting line. I've lost my way again. I indeed forgot how to calm my mind and body. It was a humbling way for the universe to tell me I am not meditating nor relaxing correctly. That's where Jessika comes in. She is the absolute best and is truly amazing at holding a safe space for you to achieve complete and total relaxation. I have been a student of reiki for a few years now and had never felt called toward mastership. I was drawn to take Reiki 2 with Jessika as a "refresh", simply because of her generous and unique animal and fertility reiki add-ons. Long story short, after connecting with Jessika who is so kind and accommodating, she encouraged me to delve deeper into my studies and do Level 3 instead. Where do I begin.. As soon as the doors opened I was in tears. Something abundent about the energy I felt as soon as I saw Jessika. I was greeted at the door and soon sat down to cards laid out and was asked to fill out a quick questionnaire. Who would have thought that the simple questions you were suppose to answer can be so emotional.. Jessika was very pleasant, soft spoken and easy to listen to. Her voice was so soothing and calming (IMO!) To the reading down to the Reiki session, and to the summary of my session was so intense and emersive. This was my very first time trying Reiki, so I had no expectations nor experience. I thought it would just be a relaxing session to process some heavy emotions. To my surprise, months of tension and shoulder pain just melted away with Jessika's care. It was very relaxing and a lovely environment, but wow.. months of physical therapy couldn't do what just 90 min of Reiki could. This was my first reiki session with Jessica, and I had great experience. Her session was very detailed and had several different spiritual approaches like card reading, sound bath, with refreshing scent of essential oil! When she started her reiki, she guided me into calm states with her very beautiful calming voice which helped me get into relaxed calm state very easily. When she played crystal singing bowl with other sound instruments, I could feel those frequencies of sounds traveling in the room wall to wall and it made me see and feel the vivid colors even I closed my eyes with eye cover. I will be honest and say that I was skeptical of the whole reiki/sound healing thing. I attended an event with Jessika from the Awakened soul, and after experiencing her holy fire sound bath, I have to say that I understand the hype. I wanted to wait a week before I did a review to scope out how I felt afterwards. I was referred to Jessika when I had mentioned to a friend about my back/shoulder/neck pain. I've seen the dr 3 times and did months of physical therapy. I had an upcoming dr appointment. My friend told me she had similar issues and found Jessika online who made all her pain went away. I was desperate for help. I went to see Jessika not knowing what to expect. Never done anything like this. I went in with an open mind. She was very sweet, welcoming and calm. I have never have a real reiki session before so I went in with an open mind and not knowing what to expect. Her apartment was very calming and really set the mood for the session. We started with going over a few cards that she had pulled for me and she went over the messages behind it. Then I pulled a card myself, and read the message to myself. I laid down, closed my eyes and she read a passage to begin the meditation. Then she went around, touching different parts of my body starting with my head. During my session, I saw a kaleidoscope of pink and purple. I was pretty shocked that I was really seeing it. After the session, I felt tired, lightheaded and got a little headache. She explained that it was normal and that the negative energy was leaving me. The next day, I felt refreshed, focused and content.
