We are extremely satisfied with the professionalism and quality of work by Bloom Nursery! Having waited nearly 2 years to fix our ugly, lifeless and messy backyard, we are so happy we chose Diego and his staff to design and makeover our patio. We made an appointment with Diego and he came personally to design and give us a free estimate. We had an idea of what we wanted but had no clue what we needed to get there. Our backyard was unleveled and we had a mess of underground roots and tree stumps left over from the hurricanes 2 years ago. We also had a fence that was falling over and rotting due to the pooling of water in our yard whenever it rained. Diego provided solutions to our issues and diagram of what he was planning to do. He also gave us a realistic estimate of how much time it would take to complete. Even with some hiccups that occurred during the process (a sprinkler burst during the digging process which if you know anything about landscaping, happens frequently). Diego and his staff corrected the issue right away and kept us informed through the entire process. We have used landscaping companies in the past and this is the first time we have been so ecstatic about the quality of work and professionalism of a company. Santi and his team were communicative, understood my wants, and got to work right away. What I assumed would be a week long job took only 2 days! Santi was knowledgeable about all the plants that would be planted, sun intake, necessary maintenance, lighting, and more. He sent my proposal within less than 24 hours. He even called me a week earlier than planned to get our project done sooner because he had a cancellation. I bought a group on to get the front landscaping of the house done. I of course did a little bit of research and called a few places. They were the first to attend me and truly seem interested in taking my business. When the owner came by to do the initial walk through I told him my budget and asked him what he could do with that. He was wonderful! We walked around the neighborhood he was so honest about what plants would do well, what he could do if I had a bit more of a budget and what we could work with. It was great to have someone genuinely work with you in order to want it all to come out great. A few weeks later they came by and did the job within a few hours. It came out gorgeous. Very unresponsive. Had an appointment with the company in early November to redo our entire front landscaping. The designer, Santiago came out and looked at the property and listed to our desires. Expected a quote within a week. Nothing. Called 'you'll have it before Thanksgiving'. Nothing. Called again today, was told he's just too busy to provide a quote/design because they took on a job on Las Olas. So now we have a yard not done for the holidays. Horrible customer service guys. I bought a Groupon worth $200 services last month and since then they cancelled their appointment twice, without any prior notice, at the last minute and then finally refused to honor the Groupon! I wanted to like this place because their prices for plants for much cheaper than other nurseries nearby. But when I visited, there was only one person working on a Saturday and many of the plants I saw had brown leaves. It was also hard to find prices on some items. Bloom just landscaped the front of my house and it looks awesome! I spoke about what I wanted and Diego listened and made suggestions. The owner is very knowledgable and responsive. HIs people arrived when scheduled and were very professional. He price was very fair. The most important to me is that they stands behind their work. Diego told me to call if any of the plants fail. This has been the most successful experience that we ever had with a landscaper. We have been in the house for 27 years so during that time we hired a number of different landscapers. I bought the groupon for landscaping. In all honesty, I wanted overgrown congestion cleaned out so I could actually see my house. They were quick to come out for the estimate and returned in less than a week to complete the work. They were very thorough and communicated very well with me throughout the process. They laid sod on the grass where they removed the plants but also put down a few extra pieces where the grass was run down. I love being able to see the front of my house now. read more

Diego the owner came to my home and his company did a tremendous job! Recently contracted this company to do some landscaping work, everything seem to go well on the consultation. However the day that the work commence what I was told would be done turned out to be something else. I was charge a ridiculous amount for plants which some I could have gotten somewhere else for $1.99. Where I was told I would have mulch I got rocks, I wanted a number of humps and they wanted to landscape 3/4 of the front of my yard and when I questioned it I was told over and over that that was not discussed. When I argue about it I was told that it would cost more money it get it the way I requested initially and that the amount that I agreed upon was an estimate. Plants that I requested not to be remove was removed. While I have bought many plants over the years from Bloom nursery and have been genuinely happy with my past experiences, my last experience really disappointed me. They state on their website 100% satisfaction guarantee but not in my most recent experience. I have bought and used both Groupon options recently. I asked for succulent plants that required limited maintenance and above all were not toxic or poisonous to my kids or pets. Being a novice in the plant field I did not know that Fox Tail Ferns produce a berry that can be poisonous to both pets and small children. I called and asked if I could exchange the plants for something else and was told I could not even get so much as a credit. I would have gladly given them back the few plants I have and planted the new ones myself. Oh well, I guess 100% satisfaction guarantee doesn't apply to a loyal repeat customer.
