We booked a couples massage for 90 minutes with Frank and Mary. Neither of us can remember having massages that good. They spent the time focused on the areas we requested, with the pressure we requested, and we both left feeling so much better! Appointment was easy to book on the website. They sent reminders for the appointment and confirmed booking preferences before the appointment (gender of masseuse, single or shared room). As a side note- there are now signs in every room not to touch the masseuse and to basically be appropriate in their business. Not sure what people are thinking these last few years (though I can obviously guess by the signs), but no one goes to work to be assaulted so keep your hands TO yourself but OFF yourself. Also, place seemed pretty clean and sanitary. For context, I like a really deep tissue massage. The average person might find what I enjoy to be uncomfortable. Like a jackhammer in my back would be good lol. I had John as my massage therapist, and he was absolutely amazing! Didn't take any shortcuts and really got into the muscle tissue. Elbows and all of that! Felt awesome. I was so relaxed. I will definitely be coming back to him. I didn't completely undress, although I'm sure you could. I really only do that at high end spas. I was in shorts and a cami and It was comfortable. He asked about the pressure. I told him hard and he obliged. Kept consistent pressure the whole massage. Heads up: they do request a $20 tip ahead of the massage. While I recognize this is untraditional, I totally get It, given how COVID must have affected business. I hope people start cutting small businesses some slack! Anyway, if you are looking for an insanely deep tissue massage without the frills, definitely come here!
