Given that I was doing this long distance, I had to completely rely on her judgement, and, according to people who have actually seen the flowers, she did an outstanding job. I am in Denver so taking a chance on an out of state florist for a delivery that came highly recommended. I think the florist who designed this bouquet for our anniversary did a nice job, unfortunately, we have agreed to disagree over the delivery procedure. The flowers were delivered on a cold day in Council Bluffs without being bagged and they wilted badly within a couple of hours. Alisa was diligent in her research and stated they followed their procedure of not bagging flowers when the temperature is above 34 degrees...it was a morning delivery, below 34, and it was an expensive bouquet. She took no responsibility or accountability...perhaps just a bad day for the delivery driver or flowers need to be bagged at a higher temperature than 34...who knows. It could have been a lot better and it does suck when the business blames the customer...poor form Alisa. I would recommend not using Bloom Works for deliveries...probably much better if you pick them up yourself and deliver them personally. read more

Of the many florists I have used over the years, I have never been more disappointed! The bouquet received at the funeral home, was not only substandard but also had wilted flowers! I will never order from this florist again or suggest this florist to anyone! So disappointed! Upon my complaint I was informed the florist provided stated they fulfilled the order to value, apparently they assumed the order required wilted flowers. Who knew! read more

I ordered an arrangement for a funeral. I had asked for one that had a tropical feel to it. When I saw it at the funeral I was so disappointed. The arrangement consisted of a few stems of liatris (not tropical), a couple stems of a small yellow flower (similar to craspedia which is also not tropical) and some orchids, which I suppose were to give it the tropical feel. Unfortunately, this arrangement was very ugly because of the mixture of common prairie type flowers with the tropical orchid. The colors were also very much off.
