This was my first visit, and I was immediately impressed by how clean and well-lit the restaurant was. The kitchen is visible from the dining area, and it was great to see two cooks and two waitresses working efficiently to keep up with the dinner crowd. The menu is simple and authentic, focusing on traditional Mexican dishes rather than an overwhelming number of options. I ordered the mixed fajitas along with a Mexican bottled Coke. Before the meal, they served warm tortilla chips with a bean dip. I also asked for salsa, and the waitress warned me that the green salsa had a little kick to it--which it did--but it was very flavorful and complemented the chips perfectly. The mixed fajitas were cooked perfectly. The portion size was generous, and despite my best effort, I could only finish about three-quarters of the meal. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will definitely be returning. If you're looking for a more authentic Mexican dining experience in Eagle Grove, I would highly recommend giving Valentina's Mexican Food Truck Taqueria a try.
