When I finally got in touch with the office manager, Melanie Tzenova, I was shocked to hear that the only "solution" they could offer was a 30% discount to redo the Kybella treatment. No proper complaint process, no accountability, no offer of a meeting -- just a phone call and a vague apology. I find it unacceptable to be offered a discount to spend more money on a treatment plan that didn't work the first time -- especially when it was recommended by their own professionals. Clients deserve transparency, results that reflect the price they're paying, and above all, respectful communication. I'm sharing my experience and my before-and-after (spending $3,000 in this place) to help others avoid wasting their money. I do not recommend Skin Lab based on how they handled this situation.

I went in for a brow lamination and tint plus a lash tint. I was never asked what shape or tint color I would like. The tint does not match my hair or skin tone and the shape is not what I would have picked. The lash tint is jet black and left stains around my eyes - I look like a punk rocker raccoon. I never received post care instructions so when I went home I scrubbed my face to get as much of the tint off as possible. I know from getting laminations before that you cannot get them wet same day so this treatment was useless and a HUGE waste of my money. On top of not getting to advise on my service, during the service I was not treated with care. I was left in the room for random amounts of time on several occasions. I had my Apple Watch so I would see if the salon would come back to check on me when they said but the times were always extended which is probably why the tints are so much darker then expected.
