I'm giving a 2 star review because I came here for laser hair removal a few times, and I don't think their technology works well. The zaps hurt a LOT, but more importantly I had a lot of hair grow back after each treatment. I recently tried another salon and have found the other salon's technology doesn't hurt at all, and really removes the hair. So I'd avoid this treatment at Beautiful. read more

Location is off Greenwich Ave. Greeting was instant and Flor was considerate to give me a heads up and let me know she was running a few minutes late. No biggy! Really like her pleasant demeanor and sense of humor. Love how she gives tips of the trade for better looking skin. She even advised me to visit Sephora and purchase a few items that I needed. Covid Update. I just went to see Flor for my first facial since Covid. The spa is following strict safety and cleanliness guidelines and Flor was wearing a mask and face shield (and gloves) throughout my treatment. They are taking temp checks, social distancing and hand washing upon entering. I felt very comfortable with the guidelines being met and the cleanliness of the spa. Truly, she is such a gifted esthetician and knows so much about skin and how to keep it healthy and looking great. A true professional. Her facials are amazing. I had originally booked an appointment for waxing and mani/pedi at another salon. After reading the yelp reviews of BBFS I cancelled the old appointment and scheduled with them. It was a wonderful experience. It was my first Brazilian and the woman was wonderful, patient, and very skilled. I did not have quite the length of hair necessary but she used her skills to do the best and told me to come back later to fix it. That was above and beyond! I just went to Flor for the first time for a facial two days ago. I've had quite a few facials at many different spas, but I've never gone regularly or been loyal to any one facialist because in the past I've left not convinced that they've done much for me and so they never seemed worth the expense. This was different, and very worth the price. I will definitely be a repeat customer. This was the most thorough extraction I've ever had. Flor finished extracting and had me look at my face in a hand mirror to make sure she got everything out. I laughed because I've never had anyone do that before, but I think it's a good policy. And she did get everything out, there are blackheads I thought were just how my pores looked that are now gone. This was also a very personalized experience, which I appreciated. She made sure to ask about my skin concerns and gave me suggestions for skin care at home. My face is so clean right now, and I've gotten compliments on how glowy and healthy I look since seeing her! I have very oily skin that is hard to maintain. I have tried many, many aestheticians in many different cities over the last 15 years. Flor is by far the very best! She is very good at identifying different skin troubles and very knowledgeable about how to treat them. My skin has had varying needs over the seasons and Flor has been great giving my skin exactly what it needs on each visit. My skin has never looked better! I could not be happier. I easily scheduled a Brazilian and leg wax for the same day I was calling (Friday afternoon). Hilda did a good job and she was very attentive. She was very friendly (as was the other lady), so I wasn't just staring up at the ceiling the whole time. It was my first time there so she explained that they use new pots of wax for every customer. She made me feel very comfortable the whole time. She testing different types of waxes, and smaller and larger areas to see what was better for me. The place is small but looked very clean.
