My boyfriend and I decided to get a couples massage to celebrate Valentine's Day weekend and our anniversary. The exterior of the spa is quaint and cute! I loved the colors and the style of the house. Entering, we were welcomed by Becky and Maxfield. The room was already ready for the massages so we entered a separate room, filled out some paper work, and put on our robes to get ready for the hour. The ambiance was very soothing and relaxing, with quiet music playing and water flowing in the background. We started to lay down on the beds in privacy so we could take our robes off. I called them to enter and while Becky started my boyfriend's massage, Maxfield began my massage on top of the thin blankets then started on my upper back, later my neck, shoulders, arms, lower back, butt, and legs. After about half an hour, both my boyfriend and I flipped over, and our feet, legs, arms, shoulders, and head were massaged. Overall, I loved the massage and my boyfriend did too! We both felt very relaxed after our masseuses finished and all the tension and knots we had were completely gone. Found Blooming Day Spa on yelp. Was a little concerned with the small number of reviews but opted to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. I scheduled the "Lady's Day" spa package (on pretty short notice) and it was a total steal! Maxfield was professional, but also made me feel very comfortable. The location is adorable. Love the decor and the music was soothing. The massage itself was on point. I struggle with tension headaches and neck pain. Maxfield took extra time to work on that area, which had noticeable improvement following the appointment. The only slight discomfort I experienced was the temperature of the paraffin wax for my hands. When I mentioned it, he acted quickly to remedy the situation. So, really...I have no complaints with this experience. Definitely a 5 star experience for this girl. I will be back. read more

This latest bout has lasted for a month. I finally surrendered and booked a massage (I go in for monthly massages with another masseuse). I am in no pain for the first time in days.
