Doing what is right should not be complicated…read more My in-clinic experience at ATI was fine--the physical therapy itself met expectations. The issue is with billing and how ATI handled my account. Before scheduling, I spoke with multiple receptionists to confirm insurance coverage. They reviewed my plan, took a couple of days to verify, and then assured me--both over the phone and again at my first appointment--that I had a $0 copay. Based on that assurance, I chose ATI over another clinic where I already had an established care team. However, after my first appointment, ATI abruptly canceled my next session and later informed me that I in fact owed a $40 copay. While the amount is not significant, the principle is. I had confirmed coverage multiple times before starting treatment, and my copays have never been $40. Months later, despite my objections and attempts to resolve this, I received a collections notice. Even after calling ATI's customer service multiple times, being transferred repeatedly, and being promised follow-up, no resolution was ever provided. Instead, my account was sent to collections, negatively impacting my credit--all over a charge I was explicitly told would not exist. This is not just poor communication; it is a bait-and-switch experience that shows disregard for patients. Trust matters, especially in healthcare, and ATI failed to uphold the basic responsibility of billing patients accurately and honestly. For those in the Phoenix area, I recommend one of the many other physical therapy clinics in town. Physical therapy itself is largely the same across providers--what sets a clinic apart is how it treats its patients. Unfortunately, ATI has shown me firsthand that they do not prioritize doing right by theirs.

I finally had to raise the issue and also complain about the lack of focus on the TMJ. The therapist don't engage with you much after they show you the initial exercises and they don't pay attention to how you are performing. They mostly are staring at their computer screens and really don't show much empathy or talk to you as to how you may or may not be improving. Find a another PT is my opinion.

One of my daughters had worked on the "K" sound for months at a different facility. After the first session here, I saw the improvement and she nailed it by the second session. They love to come to their sessions and it's an exciting event for them, they look forward to seeing their therapist. We have now been attending a few months and I see the outstanding improvement in their speech development and growth. Front desk is very responsive and always available. I love the decor themes they promote each month. It has been a wonderful experience to learn techniques and strategies to help our girls. We also receive session debriefs and play activities to practice at home.

They supported and encouraged me to attend graduate school and always cheered me on along the way. They have different areas therapists can work in such as in the school setting, home health, and in the clinic and they make every attempt to place a therapist as close to their house as possible. RZT also has great perks such as providing health care, dental, vision, money towards CEUS, and extra opportunities to make earn extra money by supervising (if you're a SLP) or by picking up extra home health clients. It has been a pleasure to work with them and I would have continued working for them if I wasn't moving out of state.

I love the fact that…read morethey always adapt to what he wants to do and aren forcing him to do particular agendas like when we used to go to pediatric speech and language which was literally a 10 min walk(2 min drive) from our house. But we are more willing to make the 12-15 min drive for better care than someone who shoves their agendas down you kids throat. The only dislike we have is their time frame when it come to call outs. Since my son is in kindergarten from 7:40-11:45 and our appt is always at 1 we never know how much he will be able to tolerate after he gets out of a school. So if he is having mental breakdown they don't care. You have to bring them in otherwise you start getting charged for each missed appt. Starts to really add up. There are days i really want to pull him because of their policy. But because of how much progress he's made there we haven't pulled him.

How on earth does this help with emotional regulation skills? How does forcing a child who struggles with fine motor skills benefit from this? It's appalling that an educated person would think 1. They can discipline another persons child and 2. Forcing a child who struggles with writing to write as a form of control and punishment would ever work. This doesn't work! There is no evidence that this works. What an embarrassment to the establishment.
