What brought us to Dr. Lavery? He is one of the most prestigious and highly regarded…read morerheumatologists in Texas. Getting in as a new patient is a beast, but Dr. Lavery is worth the wait. In short, the appointment was for our 18-year-old daughter. She has had severe symptoms uncharacteristic for someone her age: insomnia, migraines, fatigue, chronic pain throughout her body and more. A good physician knows how to make a patient feel as though they are being cared for, that their concerns are valid, and that they are being heard. Dr. Lavery took the time to listen to her concerns, look over her medical history, asked a lot of questions and had several ideas on how to troubleshoot the situation. Dr. Lavery was more than willing to work to figure out what is going on with her. Rather than rushing into diagnosis too quickly, he assured her that he had a process in place and once he received all of the data he needed, he would talk to her about a diagnosis. Dr. Lavery up to this point has been vigilant about following up on tests and communicated those results through a portal he offers his clients. Our daughter is empowered to talk to him any time of the day and he responds quickly. Having access to your doctor like this is remarkable! Thus far he has become a strong advocate for our daughter. He has helped her get medicines approved, secure an appointment for tests or meet with a specialist, and access other necessary services. The best doctors are willing to go the extra mile for their patients' well-being, and this certainly describes Dr. Lavery. We are in the early stages of solving this problem, but after years of waiting to find the right physician to crack this case, Dr. Lavery has been worth the wait. Peace be with you.

Full disclosure: I didn't manage to make an appointment with this clinic…read more Apparently there were no openings until March when I called, because apparently the doctor will be out of the country for several weeks. Also, I was informed most of her appointments are taken by the PA who has "been with them for several years" and "does everything the doctor does." This is "their normal practice" apparently. I've never heard of such a thing. I asked if it was considered a "doctor's visit" if it was with the PA, and was informed that yes, yes it is. Huh? So why isn't the PA the MD then? Because the PA is *not* an MD... why are we paying a premium for a PA visit? I've visited multiple doc offices before and have had the pleasure of working with their PA's, but NEVER before working directly with the MD/specialist first and certainly throughout my care. Very disappointed after reading all the positive reviews about this place.

You don't have to wait long and her office is always clean and welcoming. Appointments are easy to make. Just a few down side issues...there is a charge if you miss your appointment, even if it's an emergency. However, the doctor worked with me on this fee & waived it. The billing / coding on a visit was also entered in incorrectly and I was billed from my insurance company. But the office corrected it, and took care of it after I contacted them. It's nice to see that they can correct errors & look at policy. I would recommend getting rid of the no show fee, it's very high and things happen. Overall, very pleased and would recommend.

I needed to find a doctor who was great with fillers and threads so I decided that Dr. Moammar…read morefrom Legacy MD was the man for the job. My first appt with Dr. Moammar went well, he was easy to talk to, explained what he would do and why, wrapped several things into one price and I was sold. We didn't discuss how many units of each product he would inject, but since it was rolled in one price it didn't matter. On the day of my procedure he told me about the 'triangle of beauty" which is pretty much is your cheekbones and chin. Since my own cheekbones are good, he suggested to inject Radiesse into my chin to enhance it, to "complete the triangle". After my procedure I kept noticing ugly dents in my chin, when I was smiling or talking the dents were even more visible and everyone was noticing. Also, one side of my chin looked heavier, still does, I guess that's where he injected more, so the overall front looks lopsided. I texted MD Legacy my photos and Dr. Moammar said it was an easy fix so I scheduled another visit. On the day of my appt he was 30 min late which was fine it happens, but when I was finally in the room discussing my concerns he told me he was late for his next appt and that we needed to hurry. He had to rush for his next client because there was new money still to be made and my problems were just nuisance to him. Anyway. He said to fix it he was going to add the hyaluronic acid filler to soften up my chin contours, to make dents disappear. But before he started he said 'I will give you a good deal on the price for the filler...' to which I responded that I wasn't the one who deformed my chin so I won't be the one paying to fix it. He responded 'ok, ok, I will take a hit for you on this one...' it was extremely uncomfortable, it's his job to fix his own damage at all costs, not to make deals. Then Dr. Moammar said 'well, at least now we know that Radiesse is not good on chins'. Wait a second, 'now we know?' I've never asked how many chins he had injected with Radiesse, but I assumed a ton since he so confidently offered to do it on me. Radiesse is as hard as the cement, so I was sure he knew what he was doing. After 4-6 months my chin was still dented, lopsided, I've learned not to smile much to hide dents. I had to train myself how to speak in front of the mirror to not attract attention to my chin. Every time I look at myself in the mirror all I can think is "MD Legacy". I learned one thing, either Radiesse doesn't belong in chins or it needs to be injected by someone who knows what they are doing, a real pro. If that's not bad enough, I still have a bulge puckering on my forehead. Not only threads did no brow lift at all, they added a bulge. That's another thing that Dr. Moammar told me he does a lot, a browlift, because I asked, I always do. The forehead requires great skills as it's flat surface. When I think about this whole thing, I should've just insisted on Botox in the jawline like I had originally wanted and gone home golden. But Dr. Moammar's the 'triangle of beauty' story and the necessity of the Radiesse made me go for it. He could've used a more fluid filler like Juvederm, but that would've meant 3-4 syringes and since he had already given me one price for all, it would've been not cost effective to him. UPDATE: It is March, 2022 and my chin is still disgusting. I texted my photos to MD Legacy and received response from Whitney, their new office manager, who said "I would love to help you in any way". I responded that the only help I need right now is a refund so I could fix it with sometime who knows how. She disappeared like they all did once saw a word 'refund'. How does a doctor look at himself in the mirror knowing that he disfigured someone's face? How do they just go on with their life. I hope my review will help people in the future to decide what not to do. Had I read a similar review before my own procedure, I would've done so many things differently.

Saw a new doctor and spent $150 for clearance letter and labs. Good thing I found this new doctor because those same labs I paid $550 for would only have cost me $75 at this office (paying the doctor and having it billed to them) - with THE SAME LAB COMPANY! I came in to get bloodwork done two weeks ago , I was then told I need to schedule a follow up…read moreappointment for an annual ( which I also wanted to do in the first place ) I'm 20 for context, and just moved , so i'm trying to find a new doctor. It's my first time taking care of ALL the paperwork, appointments, checkups, etc. What I clearly didn't know , is that bloodwork and your annual visit should and will be done at the same time too , you know .. avoid having the come and pay for a completely separate visit. I came back in Today , to get this " annual " , and also wanted to voice a concern I was having . More context , I had felt a lump in my chest and wanted a "professional " to check , she comes back 3 minutes later to tell me that they will have to charge me an extra visit ( apparently NOT covered by my insurance) for her to check this lump . Almost walked out on me mid sentence trying to ask questions about this ridiculous extra charge , and when I stopped to tell her that I wont be doing that and will then be going somewhere else for a checkup , she continued to question my decision saying that "I need this exam " . I've never had someone attempt to peer pressure me into getting any type of medical exam before , and honestly by this time I just told her I wasn't sure I even wanted any type of exam from them today . These again are just small issues, and suspicious that built up over the visit, and it just keeps getting worse. Finally my no was heard and she left to tell the doctor I didn't want to add on this extra exam , and as stressed as I am about it i'm not going to keep going to a doctors office that care more about the money than my health. After she left to update the doctor once again, one of the receptionists entered the room and started questioning me about now not doing this annual . This are the things she then stated that were not communicated with me . 1. They didn't get everything tested I asked for the first time for my bloodwork( which they said would be done) and now they planned to get more bloodwork today . None of this was made aware to me , which is very important considering you need to fast before a bloodwork appointment. 2. She then told me " well things came up with your thriod and we need to check it again , and that " we needed to check my magnesium again", for some undisclosed reason. They will lie to you for the sake of money, and will give you fake health scares . How I know these were fake made up on the spot diagnosis's? My grandmother was a biology major, science teacher, and studied in med school , and yes I will ask for her knowledge about these things , because she will be able to truthfully with my best interests in mind, to tell me my results. My vitamin d and b12, b6 was low, but nothing unfixable. Also yes I take health incredibly seriously. This combined with her blocking my only exit , just made me want to leave immediately. I wasted time and gas, just for multiple people to attempt to gaslight get me into getting an overpriced groping . As i'm leaving , already aware of this $25 cancellation fee that posted up around the office 30+ times , the other receptionist tells me she will label my appointment as a cancellation. Yah, absolutely not, I wasn't seen by the provider, and it's not a canceled appointment due to me literally showing up. I try and explain how she never saw me , and that I really just didn't want this charged on my card, because I already extorted my monies worth of gas getting out there. I directly ask " If they will charge me a cancellation on this visit ( yes or no question) , which she then responds " well i'll tell her you were not seen but I will have to label it as a cancellation " ( neither yes or no) . Also I think my provider would know if she did or didn't see me . This offices lacks compassion , professionalism , safety, communication, and ethical integrity. Just another mediocre money hungry business that makes you feel as if your problems or health concerns are an inconvenience. I've actually never wrote a review or anything service industry wise cause i've been IN the trenches for a long time . I've had bad experiences with the medical industry before , and once again let me reiterate my health is not something i will ever risk. Everything about this office is a screaming red flag and scam , the people in the office do NOT care about your health and concerns , and your needs will NOT be meet . It took me unfortunately two visits to realize. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, i'm being so serious, if you are new into looking for good doctors office or physician DO NOT go here . I wish I'd known before the second trip out , but hopefully I can help someone looking though yelp .
