Honestly, I'd rate this a 3.5 but am rounding up to 4. This was a stop that was easily accessible on our road trip driving from South Dakota to North Dakota so location wise, it's great. BBQ plate (Brisket with sides of Mac salad and mac & cheese) - mac salad was good and it had a sweetness to it that I liked. Didn't try the brisket however my family who did eat it said it was ok, but a little dry. Steak tips basket: steak was ok but noticeably salty. Salty to the point where I would be cutting off the outsides. Steak tips were also very well done which made it difficult to chew. Fries that came with this were actually ok, seemed very homemade. Big Dipper - basically a bacon cheeseburger with Texas toast instead of a bun. The two cheeses they used gave such good flavor to the burger. This was the only thing that didn't seem salty but I'm guessing it might be because it's served with an Au jus for dipping, which I didn't like at all. If I did dip my burger, it definitely would have been salty. We ordered Mac and cheese as the side for this and that was salty for sure. Sweet tea - good balance of sweetness, pretty refreshing! Overall, staff seemed nice and they seem like a cute family business. I would warn anyone who comes here that if you're sensitive to salt, you might want to ask that they aren't so generous with the seasoning! read more

Excellent food, service and wide menu selection...and all good. We had green chili burrito and chimichanga both great. Burgers awesome too!!

This is quite the stop of coffee shop, florist, local salsas, local art and not local art, jewelry and dinner. Stopped by for a quick coffee and snack. The ladies spoke to we very friendly. We got a medium coffee with chocolate and orange, just like the chocolate oranges we have at Christmas. It was a bit sweet but still good. We also had regular lattes which were also good. Could not leave without a Ana today scotcharoo brownie which was also good. The bathrooms were very clean which is also a bonus when traveling. read more

6/9/2023 Quite a gem of a family restaurant. Food was good as was the service. High school aged waitresses were friendly and efficient. Obviously popular with the locals, there were several family groups eating there. Definitely recommend it if you're in the area. read more

Stopped here on our way to Devils Tower for some iced coffee. The staff were nice, but I'm not sure what they actually made us. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, and it just tasted like cold milk with burnt old coffee. They didn't even use their espresso machine. Don't recommend their coffee. read more

We happened upon this place while driving through SD as a part of a family vacation. We were looking for gas, and a place to grab a quick bite. This restaurant was great! My husband had the Big Dipper, a hamburger on Texas toast with 2 kinds of cheese, and au jus. He said this is in his top 5 sandwiches of all time (the "top 5 sandwich list" is a frequent discussion in our house). I had the chipotle chicken quesadilla, and it was also excellent.
