It's only just after 9am and the staff are busy receiving deliveries and making arrangements. Services included catering for weddings, funerals, and other occasions. What to buy? In the end I go for a fiver's worth of fresh-in-today, pungent-as-you-like star-gazer lillies. I It's well worth remembering that this florist opens at 8am so you can always pop in, like I am, on the way to work.

The staff are friendly and approachable and will offer you assistance if, like me, you are fairly useless when it comes to selecting the right flowers for the occasion. I'm not sure if this is related to the shop with the same name in Kings Heath, but this is a slightly superior outlet to the one on Silver Street in B14. They are also online, so you can view some of their arrangements and look at prices for deliveries and such before you go over to Cotteridge to take a look.

We had never been here before but it was convenient to the care home she had been staying in. From the moment we entered the shop we were made to feel so welcome and at ease. Nothing was too much trouble to assist us in choosing the flowers in what was a very sad time for us. Today Friday 7th February we collected the flower arrangements. When we were shown the flower arrangement my wife was overcome with emotion and tears. They were beautiful and everything she wanted and beyond hers and my expectations. What a wonderful skill and talent Sarah and her colleagues have. Outstanding value and far better than we have had before. Although we live some distance away we will be back and highly recommend you to pay a visit. To Sarah and colleagues a big big thank you for your understanding, empathy and brilliant work. X

The freesias looked quite open and on the brink of being past their best. That said the roses and lilies were stunning. I guess that I'm spoilt by the low prices of supermarket flowers. This shop definitely had charm, so maybe paying a little bit more is well worth it.

The shop always looks good from the outside and is nicely stocked inside too. I really liked the iron work flowers that were hanging in the window. The flower boxes and baskets are also pretty and of good quality. I like the range of potted and freshly cut flowers that are available. I have bought both as gifts over the years. It's also open on a Sunday, at least it is on Mother's Day thank goodness as there have been a couple of emergency visits for presents for my mother in law over the years. The prices aren't the cheapest, but neither are they outrageously expensive and the service is great. I prefer this place to the other options in Kings Heath itself. When we had to use their services for a sad occasion, they made it a whole lot easier and the bouquets were beautiful.

The shop is a of burst of colour, fragrance and oooh, just general niceness! There are plans to open up a large area at the rear of the shop soon as a wedding show-area. Whoops-A-Daisy are in good stead to specialise in this field; when I'm in the shop a lady pops in to thank the florist for the bouquet she created for a recent wedding. While the name Whoops-A-Daisy suggests an accident, it seems the owner here can't put a foot wrong.

There is even information to tell you how to look after the flower and I'm sure the staff will be more than willing to help. I know a decent bunch of flowers can be expensive but I think the prices are reasonable here. If I got flowers on regular occasions I'd take advantage of their loyalty card; every time £7.50 is spent you get a stamp, once 25 stamps have been collected then you get a free £10 gift voucher. The girl that was serving me (sadly I can't remember her name, but she had blonde hair!) was really lovely, very helpful and clearly proud of her work and her wares. They also have a great selection of vases and other decorative items - again, looking a bit more interesting than your factory-produced ornamental bits and bobs. Sometimes I like going in here not to buy anything but just hang around and enjoy the sights, smells and general colourfulness of this shop. It's a beautiful, bright breath of fresh air.

They cater for weddings, exhibitions, dinner dances, events..... and so on. They are also part of the NEC, so have no problem fitting out for large exhibitions.
