I was hesitating if I wanted my hair color done in this hair salon, so I had a consultation with one of the staff then decided to book an appointment for the Saturday, which I was given the approx amount what I would expect to be paying and made a deposit. My hair stylist's name is Yukiko, very professional and polite, I did twice bleaching, color and hair cut, I went for balayage ombré with so baby light in the tone of grey blue lilac ish kind of theme, I also had hair mask done as well. Overall i like my experience although the price was a bit high, considering it is however in Covent Garden, everything will b higher price point. On my first visit I didn't get the desired color, therefore, YUkiko offered me to come back the following week to fix my color, and I would require to pay if I need bleaching, otherwise I won't. I like how my haircut went, I just trimmed about 2-3 inches n cleaned up the end since bleaching pretty much kill my hair anyways lol. My other half had a hair cut all went well, he had a junior stylist cut his hair n he payed 35£ n he like it so that's all it matters. Product they use for hair colouring is Wella, I wish they uses Olaplex but oh well. Overall experience it was great! Definitely recommend and would go back to YuKiko.

Anton at Le Leon had no trouble taking charge of my overgrown, processed and lifeless blonde mane! He has a great eye and is very comfortable making recommendations that are spot on! I liked the small quaint salon and the dog that sits in a chair right next to the washing station! He has a mix of clientele from all ages- and that means plenty of other people trust him, too! I went there back in September to get my highlights done. This tedious and expensive process - the bane of many a blonde's life - had become increasingly frequent as my hair had got very blonde from too much highlighting over the years and bleached from a 3-month trip to Asia. Although I loved the colour, my hair had become dry, dull, overprocessed and very knotty with dark roots coming through very quickly. The manager and lovely Linzi spent a good half hour explaining to me why instead of redoing my highlights as usual, I should tone the colour down. They convinced me I would gain more contrast in the colour, and have shinier and healthier locks as a result. They also told me how by adding darker tones I would end up needing to come in much less often. I was reluctant at the time to take their advice, but now my hair is indeed healthier and shinier as a result...and I'm still blonde, just a bit darker. I also now only need my highlights doing every three months rather than every six weeks. No other hairdresser in all my years of highlighting has ever suggested this approach. Apart from this, Le leon has got all the essential ingredients of a fine hairdressers - skilled cutters (Linzi and Paula are my favourites), plentiful and current magazines, decent complimentary coffee and one of the finest head massages-during-your-hairwash I've sampled. One time a few years ago, I was mid-massage and mid-moan and tilted my head to notice Geri Halliwell at the next door sink. So it's got celebrity cache too. Definitely a cut above the rest.

My hair was cut by Tom and I can honestly say that I have never witnessed anyone putting so much effort into cutting my hair just right, taking into account the shape of my hairline, hair type etc. Too often I find hairdressers either take my instructions too literally without using any of their own creativity, or, at the other end of the spectrum, go crazy doing what they feel would look good, leaving me with something I didn't want. But Tom struck the right balance, discussing what I wanted thoroughly and using his expertise to suggest adjustments that i wouldn't have thought of. My fiance needed a haircut, so we stumbled across this place and he got a really great haircut - they were able to accommodate a walk-in appointment on a Sunday and for £35, he enjoyed the shampoo, haircut, and I was able to charge my phone and enjoy a chai latte at the bar. They have free WiFi also, which is nice if you're waiting for someone. They have a pretty extensive bar/drinks/coffee/tea menu which is awesome if you're waiting for someone, and the tea lattes are some of the best I've ever had (even at coffee/tea shops). They definitely know what they are doing and everyone is super nice. I loved the vibe of the salon that I ended up booking my own haircut appointment just 2 days later with Julia. It was really easy to make an appointment online, and the they have good timeslots, they open all the way until 8 pm so it's easy to make an appointment after work and also have appointments at lunch. Julia was really friendly, made conversation but not in an overbearing, annoying way, took her time, was thorough and spent time making sure the layers and side-bangs were the right length and what would flatter my face. When she was done, someone else gave my hair a blow-dry and style and I absolutely loved the loose curls he was able to get with a brush and hair dryer. I've tried to curl my hair unsuccessfully 30-some-odd years and have never gotten it to look good and/or hold a curl. I wish I had somewhere nice to go to afterwards instead I just home. It lasted a whole day and I saw sad to wash it out the next day. I'm definitely coming back here next time I need a haircut or a blow-out so that they can work their magic. My hair has never looked better!
