I have warn people about the lack of care this salon has…read more 1st time I drove to the salon, spoke with the receptionist told her I have VERY THICK CURLY HAIR. she called over a stylist I spoke with her about full highlights, she agreed I needed extra time I booked the appointment for 3 week later (1 day before my husband retirement party) I show out for my appointment and they had 2 hours (not the 4.5 hours know it tales from having my hair done for over 30 years at Aveda's all over the country) the stylist greets me and says there is no way she can do my hair in that time .. sorry.. walks away. I flip demand to speak to a manager. Manager says they are all booked but is willing to take me the next day at 3pm (two hours after the party I am prepping for) I ask if they can stay late or do tin the morning and she says they are fully booked. So I go to my husband retirement party with 3 inch roots ..... thanks swear to never use the place again. fast forward 3 years, my stylist moves, and I a on a hunt for a new salon. I loved and was loyal to Aveda for 20+ years so I decide to give them anything change. go in talk to front desk again they call up a stylist that is an expert in curly hair. we set up an appointment , I request extra time. I show up and they have me blocked off for 2 hours again. I sit down tell her I want tights and a dusting for a trim I am growing my hair out. she cutes my hai to my shoulders cutting 10 inches (for those of you that don't have curly hair 7 inches of length on my hair springs up to 3-4 inches in length . so I now have a 1980's chopped bell cute that is right below my ears and 4 inches wide on each side all one length no layers and my hair is 4 different colors of chick yellow. After I insist on a toner . I leave and swearing never to return. They might have "Aveda franchise but it is a "Super Cuts" in disguise.

I came in for a consultation and haircut, asked for a low-maintenance, dimensional balayage with a blended root (showed a photo), and left with what looked like a bad grow-out: harsh yellow highlights on top and solid blonde on the ends -- exactly what I specifically asked not to have. I was never told that the look I am aiming for could not be achieved. Niki admitted the stylist, Lauren, should've added lowlights and wasn't sure why it wasn't done. She refused to add the highlights and said it required an appointment, which I would have to pay for. She toned it, but the problem was far from fixed. I also pointed out my haircut looked choppy to Lauren, and she casually said the bottom was shorter, but didn't bother correcting it. I now have to spend another $500 elsewhere to fix it. Mistakes happen -- but how a business handles them matters. Unfortunately, this salon avoids accountability and clearly doesn't prioritize their clients' satisfaction. Save yourself the headache.

Last year a stylist thought it was funny to chop off more than 8 inches of my hair with out asking laughing to her coworker saying "look I did another one". She also bashed her coworker thru my whole session that I complimented. I tried multiple times to change topics and she would keep going back to making fun of the girl. Such a draining experience. Today I booked an appointment thru the text system that reached out to me and when I showed up for the appointment no appointment was made and the person at the desk said too bad you should of made sure the ai bot responded to me, which it did and I showed her. Did not even try to work me in or anything.
