I could not be more grateful for the service I received from Eyebrow Place today. I was leaving to go out of town the following day for 8 days when I got my eyebrows done at the Lash & Beauty Bar on 22nd and they completely botched them (see photos). Thankfully, I found the Eyebrow Place from a quick google search and went there right after in hopes they could help. I walked in around 6pm with no appointment and was taken care of immediately. My expectations were blown away. They turned out beautifully, and my tech was extremely kind and helpful. Not to mention the service was fast and affordable! The older lady who serviced me was very nice and polite. Before she started, I clearly told her not to make my eyebrows thin and to only clean them up. Then, during the service, she rushed through the process and did not take her time. As a result, my eyebrows were made noticeably thinner than I asked and left uneven -- one brow is thinner than the other. I pointed out that they were not similar and reminded her of my original request. Then, instead of apologizing or correcting the mistake, she insisted she only cleaned and shaped them -- which is not what I asked for. I am extremely disappointed, especially since this was for my birthday. When a client clearly communicates what they want, it should be respected. If a technician cannot listen carefully, take their time, and honor a customer's request, then they should not be performing that service. I will not be returning. read more

I've gotten my eyebrows done here many times and never had a bad experience until recently. The lady seemed rushed and not happy to be there. Very obviously my eyebrows did not match one had way too much taken off and the other hardly any. Unfortunately one bad experience is enough for me to not return. read more

I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for YEARS. After visiting this established I will never return. My eyebrows were incredibly thinned out, and where all the hair used to be is red stinging skin. She then informed me that I had a gap in my eyebrow and tried to take off MORE eyebrow hair. I'd say she easily cut my eyebrows into two. Horrible experience would never recommend and never ever return. read more

I ventured in here because my normal eyebrow place is still closed due to COVID. There were two other ladies in front of me, I waited about 10-15 minutes, which I didn't think was unreasonable for a walk in, no appointment. I wish I would have gotten the woman's name who took care of me. She was kind, continued to update me on the wait, even though it was no problem at all, and fast. She cleaned my brows up perfectly in 5 mins or less and I was out. I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

Threading is the way to go for people with sensitive skin! For many years I would come home from an eyebrow wax looking like I had been in a boxing match...my eyes would be red and swollen for hours. Since I found eyebrow threading about 5 years ago, I have been hooked. I don't swell or even get red. Waxing would cause breakouts too and I have had NO pesky breakouts from threading. The Eyebrow Place in Tyrone Square Mall is top notch. Amita and Fallzia both listen to what you want and do their best to make you happy. It cost $12 for eyebrow threading, which is what I have paid in other parts of the country. I haven't had to wait in the mornings. Let them know how you want your eyebrows shaped and you shouldn't be disappointed. read more

When I used to teach in that area I would go there every 2 weeks or every month, but now that I work on the opposite side of town I only come every 2 months or so. I recently went back a week ago, and it had been a while since my last visit. To my surprise they were in a spot across from where they used to be and the new location looks REALLY nice on the inside with a nice waiting area. I usually try to get my eyebrows done by the owner because she shapes my eyebrows perfect all the time. Well now that I moved and have to go in the evening I recently had to go to this lady who I prefer not to do my brows(because of a previous bad experience). Since I had driven more than 30 minutes to get there I figured I might as well give her another shot and to my surprise she has gotten A LOT better. So I am glad that now I don't have to rush to get over there and can go anytime knowing my brows will come out great regardless of who does it :) Note: I prefer threading because I feel like the shaping is more precise and my skin isn't as irritated. I don't think it hurts even though some people find it uncomfortable. read more

Why 4 stars? Because it gets the job done well and efficiently. I've never gotten my eyebrows waxed, because I'm hooked on threading. However, upon moving to the TB area, I noticed that the options here are very limited. I used to drive to Tampa just to get my eyebrows done (since I couldn't find a good place in St. Pete), so I was thrilled to find a place much closer to my apartment! I usually go about once a month, and there is hardly ever any wait. I am usually in and out in about five minutes. My most recent visit (last week) was completely pain-free, and lasted about a total of three minutes. The reason for the docked star is that it's a little pricey, with an eyebrow threading costing $12 (obviously not including tip), but the hassle-free atmosphere makes it worth it. read more

I have been getting eyebrow thread since ages now. The lady who did the eyebrow threading was very nice, she even gave it a good shape. But it was way too painful. I was just waiting to get out of the chair as soon as possible. Though the shape was good, it was not a clean job. And worse, I spotted hair growing back the 3rd day already where as In my case, I have to wait the whole month for my eyebrow hair to grow back. I was charged $17 for eyebrow and upper lip threading. For the price I paid, bearing the pain, hair growing back on the 3rd day, and not so clean job was not worth it. I doubt if I will ever return to this place. I have experienced better at other parlors for half the price. read more

Happy to have found my go to place for all my threading needs! I'm pretty new to threading and have only had it done a few times before, but I like it soooo much better than waxing! Zero fucking stars !!!!! The lady that did my brows completely took my brows off!!!! They are so thin. I told her before I sat down to just clean them up and to please not touch the shape. She did the complete opposite. When I expressed my disappointment she then went on to say she didn't listen to me and that she knew what they should look like. Not apologetic whatsoever!!! What a fucking joke this place is!!! My fault for thinking these foreign idiots knew what they were doing. Jokes on me!! Stay far away from this place if you love your brows!!!! Was scared to have this done the first time and now I am hooked. Come back every 2 months as they do a great job. It can be a tad uncomfortable depending upon the person doing it. But it is over quickly and looks terrific. Dermatologists prefer threading over waxing as it is much safer and better for your skin. And they now have a punch card and you get a free one after so many. Very reasonable orice and friendly ladies. read more

I like how quick and simple it is to get your brows done. Only takes about 5 mins and even though it's a little painful in a pinching way when you first try it, it's worth it in the end and eventually you'll get used to it. I like how they will naturally shape your brows with just a strand of thread. I sometimes get my full face done or my upper lip. Afterwards my face and lips are red...a little awkward walking around the mall looking like that - but who cares. I'd recommend this place and I have to my other girlfriends. They had me hooked for a few months I am back to my usual wax but I do enjoy the look of threading..They are kind here and do a good job. I have had prior experience from another threading location where she plucked the whole time and ran a string across my face further over charging me so I will say this is the only location I will allow someone to thread. This was my first time going to get my eye brows threaded I usually pluck them myself and I was super disappointed. Yes she cleaned them up but no shape to them she rushed through it and didn't ask me how I wanted them. I ended up going home and plucking the bunch that were still there that she missed. I do think it was the person that did them it was an older middle eastern woman don't know her name but the other girl that was doing some other girls there Maas taking her time and hers came out much better.
