I had a good time at Blow Hookah & Cigar Lounge. I went for a night out with friends and family for a birthday celebration. They rented a both for our party. It was enough space and they made sure that we had refills on our hookah all night. The music was pretty good as well. They play a lot of Hip Hop & R&B (which I love)!!! The vibe was really nice. They had enough security and they made sure that they thoroughly searched everyone who entered. The cost was only $10 for admission. Cool place. read more

Very nice atmosphere. We visited for the first time last night. I love the decor. The seats are very cushioned. The ladies were very attentive in ensuring we ordered and received what we needed. The food selection is typical of a lounge. The prices include an 18% gratuity. The lemon pepper wings were delicious. The karaoke really had everyone interacting and supporting one another. Went here couple years ago. Didn't really enjoy old place and there management but now it's a lot better since they change the owner. With more security, better interior set up, of course a DJ too. It's a pretty good place to relax. The staff is really nice. The crowd who comes here, they're chill only want to chill not there to fight like the old place . I can't complain. It was my first time here after hearing mixed reviews on Saturday night (ladies get in free, guys pay $10 - if the cover was more we probably would have passed). Overall we had a good time because the music was AWESOME (perfect combo of old school 90s r&b and rap and current stuff, & he actually DJed/mixed, not just presses play) & drinks were very reasonably priced (2 glasses of wine and 2vodka mixed drinks for $18 - we will Uber here next time so we can really take advantage lol). Service was nice enough, no complaints - we didn't try the hookah but I'm sure it's like every other place...Mixed crowd was mid 20s-30s & not rowdy (a few people got up To dance but it was mostly chill) which I appreciated (they do the security pat on guys, which is sadly a must in Memphis) Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars: - minor cosmetic details could make the ambience better: fluff the pillows, wipe off the tables, put coasters underneath the uneven ones, have paper towels & fixed the broken stall in the bathroom, etc - outdoor seating was not inviting enough (summer weather was nice & the blacked out windows inside felt a little claustrophobic) - not enough seating altogether, I could see it getting uncomfortably crowded easily (we luckily went early 10pm so this wasn't a problem but as we left at midnight, more people started coming) I say all that to say, I'd be back and would recommend people come just being aware of the flaws and to not expect too much. Be happy that there are places like this in Memphis besides Midtown and Downtown...just manage your expectations! read more

Sorry, didn't take any pictures but this is a nice spot to hear live music or comedy in Cordova. The seating setup is a lot better than some clubs in the area. Not all wannabe VIP sections. Can't comment on much because I didn't go to the bar or restrooms. What I do have to say is baby....them wings!!!! Get you some! This was my second time at this establishment. The first time I went it was Oasis Lounge. Even though the names have changed, it's still the same type of place. They were hanging karaoke night and 2 pitchers of a mixed drink (I have no clue what it was) for $15. 2 pitchers of liquor for $15 is extremely cheap and it seemed a little desperate. Our waitress great. She explained the hookah to us and I watched her dance and drink with the people in VIP; so it seemed like she enjoyed working there. The bathrooms were clean even though one stall was out of order. Overall we had a nice time but I probably won't be coming back because all the smoke made me sick. read more

Will not be returning! We arrived at Blow last night around 7 pm and was told that we had to pay a $15 per person cover charge. I specifically asked the guy at the front door if hookah was back and he told me yes. I knew COVID restrictions banned indoor smoking but wasn't sure if it had been lifted therefore I wanted to make sure we would be able to smoke before paying the cover charge. We paid it and proceeded to sit at a booth. It took forever to get service even though there were only roughly around 10 patrons there. When we finally ordered drinks, they arrived in little ass cups, however, we were feeling the vibe. We proceeded to order food and then were approached by a hostess who informed us all of the booths in the building were booked for the night. Needless to say, we cancelled our food order and left. We spend a total of $75 in less than 30 minutes and weren't even able to smoke. And why was there no one at the door to seat us or even inform us that all the booths were booked?!? Customer service was horrible and shame on them for charging a cover charge when you can't even smoke. WILL NOT BE RETURNING! read more

This was probably the most sketchy place I ever been to. First off, when my friends and I walked in and showed our I.D this dude, who claims to be security, told us that we had to pay $5 each because we had our vapes, but we didn't have to pay the entrance fee. He then tells us to turn around and proceeds to pat us down and searched us, which was weird since no one else was there. Then we sat down and got our menus. The service was fine but it was expected since we were the only ones there. We ordered our hookah and the sever asked us "two or three hoses" naturally we said three since there was three of us. When the bill came we were shocked to find out there was an extra charge for hose which the server did not inform us about when we said three. We went to Blow on Saturday night... Terrible experience. This place is BYOB which was okay since we had liquor in the trunk, but I was told that I would have to pay again to re-enter. The BYOB sign was turned the wrong way when we walked in. SMH! There's a $10 cover charge and there's a setup fee... I wonder why they stopped selling liquor... When a waitress finally greeted us, we asked if we could get a hookah. We were told that they didn't have anymore available. I asked her if there was a wait or are you all are out of them? She said, " we're out of them! I don't know when they'll be available..." and walked away... This is a hookah lounge, if you're out of hookah's or there's a wait for one, you should tell people that at the door! The place wasn't packed. When I asked to talk to a manager before we left, that never happened. The waitress made a scene by waiving to security. I wish I would've gotten her name. DO NOT go here. I'm leaving the most honest review ever. I wanted to love this place bc I had never been and wanted to celebrate my birthday properly. I bought a booth that allowed myself and 6 others access. When I arrived I told them I had a table, a gentleman continued with the door price. Assuming he didn't hear me I turned to the lady behind the counter and explained that I had a table. Her attitude was so nasty and unprofessional. She explained that I had 4 more people could enter under my name. They still charged my expecting guests $29 at the door. The bathrooms were clean enough. The server for my table was phenomenal. I wish I could remember her name. The DJ was dope! He had the club so hype. I walked in dancing and left dancing. Towards the end, my server came around to let us know they'll be closing and they'll be taking up the hookahs. She said in 15 mins as one of my guests were on the hookah. Another server with really expired individual braids came right behind her and snatched the hookah up and before I could correct her, she was gone. Rude. I paid a nice amount for that booth for poor service acts. 2 stars because I wish that it would've been better but it wasn't. Don't play with people about their money. Probably the most unprofessional experience i have encountered. My friends and i went for a birthday and when we arrived some of us were told it would be $10, some were told $20 and some were let in free of charge. We were all under 21 but only there to smoke hookah in the first place. They allowed us to pay these (sketchy) prices only to find there was not a single table available for us to sit. They did not warn us of this before. When we finally were sat - ten minutes passed before we were even given menus. We decided to leave and encountered a "manager" (security guard) who refused to work with us on a refund although we did not do anything but sit and wait. In this encounter i asked for the number of the owner and the man gave me his own number trying to pass it off as the owners. When i called he pretended to be the owner although i could clearly tell it was the same man who only stepped outside to answer my call. And to top it all off - He Also insulted my friend saying she should change her major because " nurses do not talk that much" read more

Last night, I went to Blow Hookah with an out of state guest. They charged $20 for entrance. Once seated, we had to hail a waitress after several minutes of her fraternizing with other guests. We ordered a beer (Stella Artois) and red wine (Pinot Noir). She returned shortly and stated that they didn't have Pinot Noir. I asked for another red wine (Merlot). She returned and stated they only have white zinfandel. She returned with the beer and a clear plastic cup for the wine (no glass). She also stated they didn't have anymore Stella Artois. We waited for our hookah (10 minutes) and again hailed the waitress to ask about it. After five minutes she brought it to our table. Since my out of state guest frequent hookah lounges, it was noted that the hookah wasn't working properly. We asked the waiter for a smaller hookah, yet they didn't have any available. It is recommended that the lounge becomes more professional by effectively training servers/waitresses and revisit there systems for ordering food and beverages. I expect superb service if you want someone to frequent your establishment and pay to enter. read more
