We had a couple of entrees (starters) and took the waitress' advice and only ordered one biryani and naan. She was right. That was enough for the two of us. The food was excellent. The chat salad was fresh. The chicken tikka was the best we have had for a while. The goat biryani was tasty and filling. The last time we were here there as a really noisy group but this time there were much quieter customers. The noise comes from over the road with the galahs and rosellas etc in the trees around dusk...deafening. No problems with parking as the restaurant is part of a shopping centre. The have a loo in the restaurant but it wasn't working too well. The service was excellent. Don't forget to have a little teaspoon of moth freshener before you go home.

From the moment we arrived, the service was chaotic and disrespectful. The restaurant had no bottled water available, and despite repeatedly asking for Coke for our daughter because she was thirsty, the staff ignored us multiple times. At one point, when my daughter politely approached the counter, one of the staff members rudely told her, "Go back to your seat." She waited patiently, then approached another stewardess and politely said, "Could you please serve me Coke as I'm thirsty?" The response she received was simply, "It's fine." We then had to ask three different staff members before the Coke was finally served. Meanwhile, the cashier/in-charge for the coke to be served, loudly said to another steward, "De toh rahi hu," in an irritated tone, which was extremely unprofessional and humiliating. We had ordered Banquet #3 for three people ($52.99 per person). The snacks that arrived were completely tasteless. Things became worse during the main course. One of the stewardesses came to place cutlery on the table and while I was on my phone, she handled the plate so carelessly and aggressively that my husband had to take it from her hand to avoid it hitting me. The behaviour felt condescending and disrespectful. I chose to remain quiet at the time because I did not want to ruin the celebration. The Goan fish smelled so bad that it completely put us off our meal. After that, we could barely eat. Throughout the evening, only one staff member bothered to ask whether we needed anything else. Despite leaving a large amount of food unfinished because of the terrible experience, none of the staff cared to ask if something was wrong or even offered dessert before we left as it was a part of the the order , Banquet#3. We ended up paying $176 for what was genuinely one of the worst dining experiences we have had. This was meant to be a special family celebration, but the rude behaviour, lack of hospitality, poor food quality, and overall treatment completely ruined the evening. EXTREMELY disappointing.

Without taking you through a step by step of the service I can say we were thoughtfully looked after and along with the highly interesting menu combined to have a most enjoyable night. Our visit was mid week and the restaurant was the busiest I have seen it. So it appears that people are voting with their feet. The Pani Puri is served from a simulated Bombay street cart and is fun and gets the meal and initiates the interaction with staff and guests. Dessert is different every day so is not listed on the menu. A big wrap to Rosie and especially Goutham for looking after us so well. Goutham is most knowledgeable and talented. When you get there you scan a QR code and once your table is ready, you get a text and are shown to your table. You scan another QR code at your table which takes you to an ordering menu. There is already water at the table, with place settings. You order food through the App, then once it's ready either a human or a "Tray Robot" delivers it to your table! Seriously, a Robot!!! How cool is that! It even talks to you! The food was just incredible. We're in Sydney for a months vacation, and this was the best meal for me, in the past 3 weeks, and we've eaten at some really good places! There's another one of these restaurants nearer our Hotel and we'll be trying that too. According to the sign outside they are the most popular Vegetarian Indian Restaurant Chain in the world! Turns out they even have a restaurant in Sunnyvale, CA, which we visited many years ago, probably before Yelp! I would thoroughly recommend this place if you are in the mood for some excellent vegetarian Indian food!
