This is the only smoke shop I'll go to anymore, even though it requires a significantly longer drive than if I visited the shops in my area. The employees are all super friendly, knowledgeable, and are happy to provide any information about the product you're interested in so you always leave knowing exactly what you got and how it operates. I also have to mention that the prices here are actually fair, which is a rarity in this area for some reason. The employees are honest and don't try to upsell you something that you won't be happy with after getting home just to get an extra few dollars out of your pocket. Always makes sure to be mindful about leaving other items for his other customers when I buy out a lot of his merchandise lol. Came in looking to get a Flum Float. Held up my own asking the salesperson if they had it, she instantly said they didn't. Asked for any disposable vapes, opened a wall full of Flum Floats. Asked if I could see which flavors they had, she said no and listed the flavors verbally. I felt bad so I asked for one, she rang me up and said it was $25. I've used these products for awhile so I know they retail at $13-17 depending on where you go. I reacted in surprised and told her I could get it for $15 elsewhere. I've been there 3 times now over the last few years and every time I find something unique and affordable I've been very happy with my purchases and it's fun to look around in there. I don't know what made them do it or trying to make money because of Covid, I have purchased the same Vape in downtown Napa, and it was $10. And this place told me it is $20. Prices: purchased a 14 inch straight water pipe with an ice pinch (just about as basic as you can get) for $40 5 inch down-stem for $10. So the kids who work here are extremely rude but we've always just ignored it because the location is close to us and it's a family run business. My husband and I went in last week to buy a bong for him and a dab attachment for me. The young man carried on a conversation with the young woman working there during the entirety of our transaction. They didn't even acknowledge us other than to hand us our items and take our money. The upcharge on the dab attachment was $15 over the price listed on the manufacturer's website for an item that has been subpar. We also had to return to the store to buy another battery for $20 despite being assured that the battery we had at home would work (it didn't). It's really too bad because the man who owns the place has been overly nice, helpful and generous any time we've been there previously. His nephews/nieces/kids are hurting his business. Even though this place is a mile from me, I'm now going to be driving out to Berkeley or Oakland to stores that I know aren't trying to price gouge me and who will appreciate my business. Listen, I don't need my butt kissed but general politeness and courtesy to people who have spent thousands of dollars in your store is customary.
