One of the largest Floral experiences in the Lower Mainland…read more I visited on Opening Day of the Abbotsford Summer Flower Festival 2023 This 45 acres is a lot to walk, so be sure to where comfy walking shoes It was easy to purchase tickets online (you can also purchase on site) for $10 Each person gets to pick 5 stems of Sunflowers, so plan accordingly with a small bucket of water if you don't plan to head home right away I did not get home till 3 hours later, so the flowers were fine in the backseat There was a person at the gate to give directions & scan our tickets. And one person at the Sunflower picking field to guide us. Its my first time at a flower U-Pick field, so any guidance was helpful. They give you shears to borrow to cut the flowers There were large boards with maps on site to show the location of Sunflowers, Field flowers, and Lavender plants (peonies, lupins and hydrangeas will be ready in 2024) They had many photo opts set up: colorful benches, swings, picture frames, and even a boat! My only complain during my visit was the there was no pathway to the Field Flowers section, so walking on the dry hay and grass, scratched my legs. Also, the pathways in the field are uneven, so may not be easy for some visitors It was easy to spend an hour here, you can probably pack a snack too! Once the flowers are picked, there is a tent available at the entrance to tape the flowers, trim off the leaves prepare for a simple bouquet They have a hand wash station, portable toilets, and adirondack chairs for visitors to enjoy and relax Overall, a pretty good experience, and would recommend to visit here on a dry sunny day. They didn't have a huge selection of arrangements, but what they did have was beautiful. I noticed most of the bigger floral delivery companies were cheaper, but their arrangements looked really dated and not as nice. I also appreciate this place called her first to make sure she was home before delivering. I would definitely order from here again. Highly recommended!

We discovered Springs Gifts & Souvenirs during a stay in Harrison last July. It was a new-to-us…read moreshop, and still quite newly-located in the village of Harrison as well. For us, it was 'refreshing' to see a new replacement to the store we had known to occupy this particular location during past several trips, so we were both anxious and curious to stop in and check it out. The store was clean and tidy, the offerings very neatly set up and arranged. Once in, and walking about the shop, it soon became apparent, that what was being sold were quality, gifts and souvenirs. Some of the clothing offerings (name jackets, sweaters, and such), sure caught my attention. The service provided at the time was friendly and very helpful. Yeah! .. a fine addition to Harrison, and to this small, centrally-located Plaza of shops. Hopefully, we'll get back to Harrison before winter sets in, and be able to check out those jackets, and other offerings once again, when the outside temperature is more tempting to the cause!

We were familiar with it's "sister" store in Harrison -- seeing the original store was a first-time experience for us. I had already settled my sights and shopping on some items in the Harrison store, so this stop was really only a quite short, drop in, and take a peak browse. Glad to have had the opportunity to catch a view -- it's a small, and rather cute little gift shop -- the offerings geared to, or appearing to cater more to 'local' customers, than their shop in Harrison.

Daughter and I found and stopped into this interesting little shop during our first walkabout in…read morethe village of Harrison Hot Springs during a recent stay. The shop is an outlet of the main shop, 'The Happy Prospector', located in Agassiz (just off the road coming into Harrison). I suspect it was the wood carvings resembling Halloween pumpkins, neatly arranged outside, that first caught our attention and beckoned us in. But once inside, we were treated to the sights of all sorts of arts, crafts, and "such" (wood, rock, and mineral offerings, art prints and paintings, and other handcrafts), and so enjoyed the friendly help and assistance of a personable 'host', who really made our visit to the shop so worthwhile. We stopped at the main shop on the way home, but were too early, and it had not opened as yet. Will save it for our next trip to the area. In the meantime, we're happy to have found the shop in Harrison, and sure enjoyed checking it out.

When I called to make sure the bouquet was coming, I discovered my mistake. The lady did not for a minute give me a difficult time or try to put the blame on me which I deserved . Her driver had gone home for the day so she said not to worry. She would build the bouquet and deliver it herself the same evening so my dear wife has her birthday flowers. Where are you going to find service like this anymore? Thank you! As for the bouquet? It's beautiful and my wife loves them. It doesn't get any better than this!

Definitely recommend this place if you're visiting Abbotsford!!
