in the first 24 minutes of buying an RV from them there was no brakes at all. trailer brakes were corroded and not even connected. in the first 24 hours we had to replace the toilet that leaked - spoke with previous owner and they were aware of the issue with the toilet. never repaired before sold. in the first week, the kitchen faucet (that they claim to have replaced) needed replaced because of it leaking. the washer needed replaced had a small leak that we later found that flooded the entire garage floor, that then needed replaced. in the first month the outside faucet area now needs fixed. To say we are beyond disgusted with this place is an understatement. We expected issues with a used camper. but within the first 24 mins? ridiculous. this has been issued after issue. We came from 14 hours. they told us they would take care of the hitch being put in, then when we got here they acted like they had no idea what we were talking about, but did end up covering all but $200. I would NEVER EVER recommend buying from here. read more

Do not use this Explore USA! We took our rv for warranty work and were called and told we owed almost $900. When we dropped it off we told them Dometic was sending us the part that was causing the communication error, there should have been no question it was there for warranty work. We had agreed to pay a diagnostic fee if necessary. We were never called with a diagnosis. The call we received was your rv is working (not properly) but working and you owe $8?? almost $900. We had an ac that was not recognizing our 3rd zone after replacing the zone 1 ac unit. Dometic, the maker of our units, sent us there for warranty repair service. Explore USA did not approach our issue as a warranty repair. After speaking to Dometic I was told Explore USA decided it wouldn't be covered under warranty so they didn't even try. My husband is a technician for another company and could have fixed the issue himself but didn't want to void the warranty so did as the manufacturer instructed. We were told the issue was the unit was wired wrong and we had a bad thermostat. Pictures were taken of the old unit wiring before it was removed to make sure it was wired back correctly. We feel that was a complete lie due to the fact before we took it to Explore USA the ac was working from the current thermostat. The issue was a communication error to the 3 zone. Do not use this service center unless you are good with spending your money without permission! And them holding your property hostage till you pay their fees! read more

I purchased a 5th wheel from this establishment. Did not have the one I wanted on site but did have it at another location. It took 3 attempts to get my paper work right. Did not perform a (PDI pre delivery inspection). The furnace did not work when they delivered the unit. We are finding all sorts of hidden problems. Cannot get them to answer the phone to report issues. Mis information. Charged more for an eco-coat. I can tell they did not even wash the unit. I highly recommend you go somewhere else if you are in the travel trailer market. read more

Hello this is Catherine Richards I bought a travel trailer from explore USA April 29, 2021 we had one vacation in it and stuff started happening and we've taken it and had service department to try and fix what was wrong they kept at three weeks and did nothing and then we got it back and they said they had to order parts that they never came we call cross roads and they said parts were ordered and show that they've been delivered the service they have no intention on making good. Paid $34500 for a trailer that's a piece of crap. Would like to trade it in and have our same equity we had. They offered us $20,000 for our trailer we use one time. How stupid are they. We began our search for a trailer about Jan. 18th. Our salesman was Drew Presley at the Canton location. We told Drew we were going to look at the Tyler location as well, so he gave his former roommate's name, Pierce, for us to see in Tyler, but Drew said not to tell Pierce we talked to him in order to get a more honest deal from the Tyler location. That's when the dishonesty began. When we arrived in Tyler, Pierce knew who we were, what we had shopped for, and it was obvious he and our salesman had spoken by phone. Despite our misgivings, we bought the trailer from Drew Presley on Jan. 21st, 2021, with some modifications to be done to the shower, TV, the front and rear hitches. Drew asked if we could come in and pay for the trailer by Friday, Jan. 29th. My husband said he would only feel safe paying for the trailer when we picked it up, after the agreed upon work was done. Drew assured us the work would be done by the time we came to pick the trailer up on Friday afternoon at 1:00 PM. When we arrived, we were whisked into the sales office so we could write the check, and were told that the trailer was ready to go. We were handed off to the service dept. for the walk-through. Thomas Ellis, service, said the hitches were not installed, but they could do the work while we waited. We then learned that the hitch we had already purchased wouldn't fit on our trailer and we would need to buy a different hitch. Then we learned that we would need to take the trailer to a different company after we left Explore USA to have the receiver hitch installed on the back as well, because that work was not done by Explore USA. The other company informed us the hitch we bought at Explore USA wouldn't work either, and the work would need to be custom. The bottom line is that my husband and I were hoodwinked into paying for a trailer we were told was ready to go, and it was not. Furthermore, we had to take the trailer somewhere ourselves to have the remainder of the work done, and leave it until next week . The trailer is paid for, and we still don't have it. The only person that was honest and told the truth at Explore USA in Canton was Zane, the service man that did our walk-through. We should not have found out AFTER we were assured the trailer was ready, and we paid for the trailer that the work was not done yet or that the hitches wouldn't fit. Because this all took place Friday afternoon, we had to leave the trailer for the custom work to be done, and we still don't have the trailer. read more

The entire process has been a nightmare. The salesman was a smooth talker and full of lies after the fact. The service manager, Lisa is unprofessional and not at all about customer service. We bought our trailer in June. We went on a trip from hell right after we got it where everything that could go wrong did. Explore USA treated us like the sale was final and they couldn't help us with what seemed like a lemon. Here it is mid October and we still haven't gotten it back from all the repairs. I'll start by saying I purchased a used RV and the experience for someone purchasing new may be totally different. I'm also only posting a review because I walked away from this purchase with so many conflicting feelings that I've lost sleep over. I'm happy with the camper itself, I even really liked the people I dealt with, I'm just extremely disappointed in effort Explore USA put in to getting our camper ready. 1. When you replaced the blue LED lights under the awning you should have used the 24 foot strip of lights that goes the entire length of the awning instead of a shorter 21 foot strip that stops 3 feet from the end. (This looks stupid and we were promised they would be fixed "even if they have to replace the whole awning", not mostly fixed. Telling us they don't make them that long is BS because we found them online ourselves already.) 2. Fix the drawer slides (drawers that won't close completely), cabinet hinges (doors that hang down), and door mechanisms (doors that won't close properly) so they all function properly. (Don't wait and do it when the customer arrives and stuff clearly isn't fixed. Some things were still lying on the floor the exact same way they were two weeks earlier the day I bought it. Some of it we will still just fix ourselves over the next few days.) 3. Fix the glaring cosmetic quick fixes before you have to be asked why it wasn't fixed. Yes it only took you 5 minutes to fix those things but they SHOULD have been done before hand and then it would have been presentable for inspection. 4. CLEAN IT!!! I mean actually clean it completely like if you were to pay someone to go inside and clean it. This camper had NOT been cleaned. Yes they did send out a young woman to clean some while we were in there pointing out how dirty things were but that is NOT the time this cleaning should have been done and I'm not going to stand there and tell her everything she should clean. Instead, again, I will clean it myself the way it should have been done before I pick it up. 5. Put a new mattress in it instead of leaving a disgusting old stained one in it. No, I didn't expect a high end luxury mattress to replace the old nasty one but I did think it would at least have been replaced with a new cheap mattress. Just gross is all I can say. 6. Put batteries in the smoke detector instead of leaving it hanging open without batteries from the ceiling. Bottom line is that in less than 4 hours someone could have had this camper cleaned up, repaired and looking just about brand new for a used camper. We were led to believe that is how it was going to be when we waited for two weeks to pick it up. Again, I am completely happy with the camper that we bought but I am completely disappointed with the preparation that went in to getting it ready for us. read more
