I had also made a list of songs that should be played during the dancing portion of the night - a lot of 80s and country music, nothing out of the ordinary. Half an hour into the dancing portion of the evening, we hadn't heard a single song we requested. No one was dancing - the songs he was playing were either un-danceable (i.e., Proud Mary) or songs I had never heard of. Finally, my sister in law confronted him on why he wasn't playing from our list - he told her, "I'm an entertainer, I'm playing what should be played right now." Fortunately she gave it back to him, telling him that he wasn't being paid to "entertain," he was being paid to play what we wanted to hear. Begrudgingly (I'm sure) we started hearing our songs (and guess what - people started dancing!). All in all, if you're having a "Best of the Mid-90s" theme party where no dancing is allowed, EntPro is your DJ. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere.
